We have to be very clear if we are truly care about others.
Motivation occurs when you persuade others to take an action in their own best interests. It will cause others to act out of their own choice and desire. It is ethical and long-lasting because it is moving together for mutual advantage.
Manipulation is deceiving others to take an action that is primarily for the benefit of the manipulator. It is often results in forced compliance and it is unethical and temporary. In short, manipulation is persuading or even subtly coercing others to do something so that the manipulator win and others lose. Here, you can see that the statement that " seeing is deceiving " is very likely to be true as it most often reflected in reality, regardless whether you like it or not. We pray that Lord will provide you a goggle to see through the deceiving act.
Leadership occurs when you influence a person to act in mutual best interests. When that happens, performance improves, productivity increases, and both parties really win. It's safe to say that leaders, then, are the spark of encouragement that lights others' torch of hope who, in return, passes it on.
So you can see leaders and motivators are winners; manipulators are losers who produce resentment and discord. Manipulators tend to divide and rule their people. The manipulators do so in order their people will not be independent and solely relied upon the manipulators, whom will continue to make use of this opportunity to exploit the situation.
Wake up and be alert of the situation you are living in.
