Brief introduction.
Zig Ziglar died at age 86. A World War II
veteran, Zig Ziglar became the top sales person in several organizations before
striking out on his own as a motivational speaker and trainer. With a Southern
charm and lessons grounded in Christianity, Ziglar wrote over two dozen books
and amassed a following of millions who were encouraged by his lessons for
success.
As we have mentioned in our proceeding posts
that in order to acknowledge and recognise what he has done to us, we decided
to run a series of 10 mini program to share out his 10 quotes that empower
millions of people to completely change the direction of their lives,
effectively from to the next 7 days. Please
record down in your diary and follow up these posts accordingly. Thanks and
hope that it too empower you the way it did to us.
1. “People often say motivation doesn’t last. Neither
does bathing—that’s why we recommend to do it daily.”
That's why it is safe to say that the best
motivator in the world can't motivate you to achieve something if you do not
give consent to it. Because motivation is an inside job and no one can crawl
into your mind and make you move. The only people who can move you is Yourself.
Therefore, motivation can't last unless the
people acquire it through conditioning and making it a habit of himself. It is
a daily thing and more often misunderstood as one off thing. One good and sound
analogy of it is drawn from bathing, which also cannot last. This is because
our bodies will be exposed to dirt and duct from our corrupted environment; one
way or the other. To keep clean, we need to take bath regularly, if not daily.
So does motivation.
Let us be honest to ourselves - we are living
in the society where tons of negative and ugly news from newspapers, radios and
television day in and day out, how can we are not be impacted, or influenced by
all these negative news one way or the other. Hence, these negative news TO A
CERTAIN EXTENT will affect or drain out our energy, if left unchecked. This is
because bad news travel much faster than good news. To balance their influence,
we not only need to keep all these unhealthy stuff at bay, but at the same time
build up good habits by reading healthy and positive news instead, such as
positive blog like ours. Otherwise, the negative habits such as fear and worry
will be creeping into our minds and making us their prisoners by forming our
habits, knowingly or unknowingly. By then, you may need to unlearn what we have
learned, and relearn what is unlimited belief to bring you up again.
Look around those successful men, you will
realise the truth that they are surrounded by many like-minded people.
You are your thoughts, stuff you read and the people you associate with. They
are frequently, if not daily, feeding their minds and souls with daily
healthy stuff, which enable them to strengthen their minds so as to keep their
motivation momentum. To achieve success, you need these pillars to lean and
support you especially when you are down. Bear in mind that life is like Roller
coaster and we are able to see rainbow after rain. That's the universal
law.
Again, it is safe to reaffirm the correctness
of this statement. In life, we may either learn or gain from every event. We
will reap what we sow. So always keep
our motivation frequently, if not daily. Let us motivate one other. By then,
the law of attraction or universe will apply and operate to keep us in such a
right path of seeing things at their positive perspective at all times. This
will then keep us from passing judgment, resisting certain circumstances and
not having peace in our minds.
From our experience, when we help enough
people to remain motivated, you will rewarded from above to stay positive
as well so that you can help more people to achieve that effect.
To say that motivation does not last, is not
only harsh, but inaccurate. To keep it, it is not an one off act, but rather an
continuous act and habit per se. Similar like bathing. That’s the reason
we encourage everyone to do it daily.
It is always more benefit to our minds and
souls to cultivate good habit of sharing and caring. Always remember that good
habits and attitudes are the cornerstones to success.
Stay tuned, we are going to share with you
another powerful quotation from him tomorrow.

SOUL SONGS BY HEIDI LEVAN - BOOK REVIEW
TO READ ABOUT THE AUTHOR, PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW:-
This songs' book is rare, unique and a privilege insight into anything that can soothe and touch the readers' hearts and souls. Her writing talents together with her well crafted skills and creativity enable her to express the joy in Everyday Life, so freely, naturally and effectively. Her songs are full of expressions and emotions, in particular love and joy. Through her songs, you are not only able to feel the flow of her expression from her observations, but you can
also relate to the respective wisdom the author conveys. Hence, her thoughtful words truly inspire our curiosity and the positive perspectives as how to live life with lots of love. Many of us have our own gifts and never use them to inspire others by sharing our experiences. Heldi Levan is not that person. She believes simplicity and love provide the finest level of living. If the reviews she’s received thus-far are any indication, the world needed it. She uses her talents to reach and inspire others.
I received a review copy of the book for the purpose of writing a fair and honest review. I received no other compensation.
Soul Song is a book which provides us with more than one dimension. This is because it can help us to view things not only physically as it is, but also its related wisdom the Universe portrays as the author has prescribed through her soul songs. It serves wide and diverse needs especially for those who want to gain the highest, positive and broader perspective on life.
This book, may perhaps make you gain faith of your own. It may gives you a good, solid and sound understanding of the great works of the Mighty Loving God.
I think that what I enjoyed most about this book is its richness with emotional songs. It reflects the beauty and joyous life if we embrace the positive perspectives of living life with love. Reminds us of the love from above. That’s what makes this book truly worth reading.
As you read through the book, you’ll be able to visualise the
colourful events and surroundings the author goes through. This book is not meant to persuade or dissuade you – it’s meant to inform, ingrain and inspire you in gaining positive perspectives in everyday life.
So grab hold of this book without much hesitation. You may probably read this book in a leisurely weekend and let the author walk you through her journey that will soothe your soul and keep you turning the pages.
The Title of the book is Simple, Precise and Concise - well reflection of its contents. It should sell quite a few copies on the title alone. Important lesson to me and I have to admit the title is irresistible.
Soul songs is definitely a noble goal, because it propels and prospers you to see things from their positive and appropriate perspective from everyday Life. You may grab its wisdom from each and every song. I must say that the reward of its wisdom is far more than your time,
energy and money spent. Marvelous. In short, you will be empowered by its wisdom with full of colourful events. Consistent and persistent application by living it in your life is the surest way to ensure that you shine through your life. The author, Heidi Levan , can certainly attest of
this truth.
This book is also ideal for anyone who feels you had been living life without much meaning and is looking for inspiration to go off on his own.
Last, but not least, this book would make a lovely and meaningful Christmas present.
All I can say is thank you!

THE TWO THINGS I LOVE ABOUT MY COMPUTER
THE TWO THINGS I LOVE ABOUT MY COMPUTER
Append below please find the essay written by my second son, Lean Kai.
I believe, in this information driven society, technology has become a part of our daily life. One will be left out if he does not equip himself with the latest updates. Therefore, I put my computer in the list of essential items of my daily life. I particularly love my computer due to its outer appearance and its spectacular performance.
What makes my computer so special are its specification of each component and its outstanding performance. The 23 inches wide monitor with high end resolution provides me with the best visual joy of entertainment as well as multitasking ability. Not to mention, the central processing unit where all the major components are located
which hold the software system in place. Each and every unit was individually chosen to maximise the performance of the computer. To go with its unmeasurable amount of awesomeminity, a specially chosen set of accessories with blue and green lightings were decorative purposes.
The external beauty of my computer can be enhanced by its rapid performance. Software installed to enhance various aspects such as the antivirus software is installed to protect the system from infection.

File managing software makes sure of my personal library of my belongings to be constantly organised. Frequent updates and maintenance of the softwares are necessary to ensure maximum stability. As said, my computer too acts as personal assistant, reminding me and providing information on my daily routine and the outside world.
My computer has always impressed me with its inner and outer beauty. Hence, I believe that I have the obligation to take full responsibility over the well being of my precious computer.

JADRE EMPEROR'S BIRTHDAY - MY MEMORABLE DAY
JADE
EMPEROR'S BIRTHDAY - MY MEMORABLE DAY
How many of you agree that our cultural practices will reveal our own identity? I do have such a belief. To me, it does not matter whether it is right or not. What matters most is its rationale of nurturing, carrying or preserving it.
Why this thought suddenly strikes my mind? This is because I am still in the Chinese New Year mood and it is also appropriate to discuss about this grand festival which begin from Feb 10 to 24, 2013. A day before my birthday.
As some of you may know that my late father was from one of the main tribes in China. We pride ourselves as Hokkein, one of the grateful community and also one the largest Chinese community in Malaysia.
I was told at a much younger age that the Jade Emperor's birthday is the grandest day of the Lunar New Year on its every ninth day. This year, it falls on Feb 18, 2013. It has been celebrated by the Chinese community especially the Hokkeins because of its significance according to its legend. Our ancestors survived persecution in Ancient China by seeking refuge in a sugar cane plantation on the Chinese New Year for nine consecutive days. They came out unharmed and believed that they were saved by the deity on the Jade Emperor's birthday. Since then, they told their offspring to observe and celebrate this day till to-date. You can see this century long practice has been cultivated to show their gratitude to the deity. It has been reflected well of this grateful community's culture.
This grand celebration has no exception in Penang, my hometown. No surprise at all to see thousands of devotees thronged the 108-year-old Thnee Kong Tnua temple in Air Itam on this day annually. The temple is located at the foot of the Penang Hill. My parents hardly prayed there, unless there is a valid reason for them to do so, as they prefer to pray at home.
I remember those old days where my parents would present various traditional offerings to the deity which included bee koe (sweet glutinous rice made by my mother), 'huat kuih' (steamed buns), ang koo (bean paste cake) that symbolises longevity, mee koo (red tortoise buns), fruits and various types and sizes of cookies designed for this particular occasion and other must have items such as sugar cane stalks. My siblings will then stay back patiently waiting till mid-night when the prayer begun.
The above folder paper effigies will be burnt at the end of the ceremony.
Thereafter, we will then have those prayed over items for our breakfast and even brought them to schools. Subsequently we, 5 out of 7 of us, migrated to Kuala Lumpur, we then stopped participating in this function unless we spend our holidays in Penang. However, my
mother continued to do so till to-date.
This memorable day still stick in my mind though I have changed my faith last couple of years. I noticed there are lots of similarities where our ancestors first prayed to the first Mighty God way before they accepted Taoism.
As such, I rather put it on record before it fades away from my memory since I am being the first generation in Malaysia. Hope, this serves as part of my legacy for my offspring.

THE DYNAMIC INSPIRATIONAL AND MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER - TRISH JENKINS
About the author:
Trish Jenkins is a dynamic, inspirational speaker and author. Audiences laugh, cry and learn when she speaks on overcoming adversity and fraud warnings.
Going to prison is especially embarrassing, when you are a Pastor's Kid! Truth really is stranger than fiction. Trish says, "If I couldn't prove it, no one would believe me!"
You can change the past and free your future - Trish did! She says, "I may not be able to change the facts, but I CAN change what I believe they mean for my life. That thing that could have destroyed me, now serves me as I share the Treasures I discovered in my Darkness, with YOU.
Her own adversity made her an authority on fraud warning signals and resulted in her first book "Dangerous Wealth: What Every Successful Woman Needs to Know to Avoid Being Ripped Off!"
Trish is Australian. She lives in Brisbane with her husband Justin and her 3 beautiful girls, Chelsea and identical twins Felicity and Olivia.
The Jenkins are active members of their church and business community.
A Prison Journey
Authored by Mrs Trish Jenkins Prison was not on the "Goal Chart" of entrepreneur Trish Jenkins.A breach of the Corporations Act meant losing her multi-million dollar portfolio, including her family home.
It also meant Trish served 8 months in prison.
Isolated from her husband and 3 little girls, living among Queensland's most dangerous criminals, Trish could have succumbed to despair.
But treasure is found in dark places.
Refusing to be a victim, Trish answered a new calling to make a difference in the lives around her. In doing so she found a different kind of freedom and healing.
Few people learn what prison is really like. Those who have rarely speak of it.
This is a courageous journey. Better than a memoir, this is real and raw; made up of letters, private journal and hindsight.
You'll alternately laugh, cry and shake your head as you experience funny stories, tragic circumstances, discouragement, hope and ever present faith.
Journey with Trish as she discovers Treasures from Darkness.
Stay tune if you like to know more about author Trish Jenkins and her book in our forthcoming posts.
