Everyone can do his part to tackle global warming

Global warming has reached a critical level that needs to be addressed without any delay. Each of us can do his part by adopting a more responsible lifestyle, starting with small, everyday things. Let us waste no time to save our planet, before it is too late.

Environment is equally important to our health as it has a great impact in everything we do. So, take some of the suggested measures listed below - you can play a positive part to address this long over due issues:-

Choose environmentally friendly products such as biodegradable and environmentally friendly products that do not create any negative impact to our landfills.

Choose high heat retention cooking appliances so as to cut down time spent on cooking. In this manner, nutrients are better retained. And most importantly, less carbon dioxide generated.

Maintain your car well to improve efficiency. This will not only save you money, but also save fuel and protect our earth from excessive emissions of carbon dioxide.

Choose the most energy efficient appliances when making new purchase.

Reuse your shopping bag to cut down the offer of disposable bags. These bags contribute to waste and pollution as they discharge carbon dioxide and methane into atmosphere, and pollute the air, ground water and soil.

Replace incandescent light bulb with compact fluorescent light bulb.

Bring your own reusable containers when you pack food.

Bring your reusable water bottle when you go out so as to minimize the waste of bottles thrown into landfills.

We, at the Lift You Up Blog will add to the above list, from time to time, so as to make it easy for your reference and usage.

Go for green today.

Thank you.
