Today we have an interestingly amazing beautiful door to heaven for your reading and viewing pleasure.

 DOOR TO HEAVEN

An amazingly beautiful cave, called Door to Heaven, situated in Zhanjiajie Province, Hunan Province. It is a Giant size cave at the Peak of Tianmen Mountain. Its' height is about 131.5 meter, width of 57 meters and Depth of 60 meters. See the photo above yourself and imagine the huge size and it has been opened to the public since 2001 and is beginning to be opened to foreigners.

Cable cars are used to reach the destination with a journey of 7.2 kilometers and takes approximately about half an hour.

  

Along the journey, all visitors will have to go up the mountain height through thick floss of snow during winter, however prior to this, you will pass by villages with huge pieces of fields and orchards.

To reach to this Door, you need to climb up few thousands of small steps along the deep sloppy slope of the mountain.

In addition, a new road leading to its peak is just completed and had only been allowed to be used except for the winter season.

IT'S A GREAT GREAT WORLD

Hi! Readers,

I recently watch the above movie, IT'S A GREAT GREAT WORLD, and it reminded me of my sweet old memories of the 70s.  Great World was one of the top most entertainment centres in Penang. Today it has been transformed to be a hawker center, which I will attach the photos at a later stage.

One part of the movie I found very creative is where one of actors was trying to have his photo taken with the then top leading Western actress, Miss Eliberth Tayor who visited the place at that time. Did he manage to achieve his goal? Check the outcome yourself from the above movie.

All of the sudden, it struck my mind of our good time where my wife and I spent our wonderful time in Nylon, a beautiful village in France instead of Rome which is in my initial plan before we depart our journey to Switzerland many years ago. We did not make our trip to Rome due to some grand celebration there which resulted in us not being able to get our tickets there.

That was how both of us ended up there and where I received my first kiss from a lovely western lady at the restaurant where we had our Lobster with red wine meals there. The owner approached me and proposed to take photos with us and I gave him a big YES instantly.  He then asked his daughter to have my photo taken with me.  (TO BE UPLOAD AT A LATER DATE)

Hope you enjoy seeing the photos below and I hope one day we can meet them one day. Better still if anyone can send them my regards or link them to me if it is convenient for you to do so. We have a good talk at that time and if my memory did not fail me they initially thought that I was a Japanese. Do I look like Japanese? Thank you so much in advance.

Coming back to this movie again, there is another inspiring story of the singer who initially could not perform up to her mark due to great disappointment from her lover whom she had waited for impatiently. However, after discovering the truth from her lover who appeared at her concert, she was then transformed to outperform, far exceeding the expectation from her loyal audiences, despite her older age. This is very inspiring to me as it again shows that age is not a barrier at all if we stay focus on our goals.

Before I end here, permit me to sum up my conclusion on this movie. It is well worth to watch the movie and I find it is still relevant if we apply things in the right perspective. Therefore, it is true to say that healthy things are from healthy hearts. Please heal our hearts by feeding them with healthy stuff so that we can bear more healthy fruits. Our hearts and minds function like our body which needs healthy food to nourish them.

Anything and everything has no meaning until we give meaning to it. Good or bad is very much dependent on its beholders who give effect to it. Nothing is absolutely true, except God and His words. Therefore, we must make it our habit to have positive and good views of things. Be mindful that what goes around comes around is always true. Why spend unnecessary time to think of the bad side of things? My advice is take things at positively, you will have a more fruitful day.

Think Big and don't waste your time to deal and worry of those bad things/ obstacles. This is what I have learned from the book of The Magic of Thinking Big. Hence, I write to record my thanks to this great author, Prof Dr David Schwartz

VERY HAPPY DAY, EVERYONE.

FIRSTLY we, at Lift You Up, are very pleased to express our heartfelt thanks to you for the responses we received on our preceding articles on HOW CAN I GO GREEN. Your good responses make this article one of the most popular articles at the time of writing of Part II. We believe that this Green article will still be well received because it reflects the KEY message that lots of people do care about the planet and everyone's efforts is not put to waste.

It is an excellent positive sign that lots of people are hungry for information on GREEN issues and people are gearing up to equip themselves to do more so that they can play  more significant roles in this aspect. I can sense this vibration and that is the driving force for me to write another update on this issue. In line with this Green projects, our government also made the Green car more affordable than before. Today, the leading popular Green Car of Honda Inspire and Toyota Pruis cost slightly below RM 100k and 140k respectively in Malaysia. For those countries which have not embarked on this scheme, please lobby them to do so.


Please be informed that it was proposed in 2012 budget that the 100% exemption of import duty and excise duty for new CBU hybrid and electric cars be extended for another 2 years. The increase in the use of hybrid and electric cars would be a catalyst to promote local assembly of these types of cars in the country and ensure sustainable growth of the nation.



Another good news I like to share with you is that our State Government of Selangor also give rebates of few thousands ringgit to those purchasers who buy selected environmental electrical appliances (rated 5 star) during this campaign period. Now, we hope that we will get the GREEN bus stop in the very near future. For those countries which have embarked on this healthy project, please come forward to update us in this blog. Thank you so much for doing so.

Let us think harder and see what the Green issues we can do together, apart from those mentioned above. Is magnetic train qualified? Please share your thoughts. If not, why don't think about electric train (China) or solar train.
AS we all fully aware that the fact of dwindling natural resources had caused high inflation globally, we need to think and use 3 R (Reduce, Recycle and Reused) to tackle this issue and at the same time bring down the environmental impact. THINK BIG and make sustainable GREEN GROWTH a reality. To do so, let us embrace the principle laid down by the book; the Magic Power of Thinking BIG by Prof David J. Schwartzr, Ph.D. is also one of prizes to be won in our recent Miss Bus Stop Contest. Make it a point to read and apply what have been written in this Magic book.

To make it an even greater impact, the young ones must also be exposed to it. Those prizes from Mdm Teoh Poh Yew also came in very handy and useful especially for the young kids, who will be the leaders of the future. Let them be exposed to more creativity and let us tap their brains to come out with some more environmental friendly items. The more the merrier.

1. Think BIG but start with small changes over time

To achieve sustainable growth, you have to think BIG. However, it is wise to start small and slowly build up so as to avoid disappointment. By doing so, you can always think of better and effective ways to do things better. It is also wise to use biological or natural way to compliment it. To do so, you may use my article at the link below as a guide. Feel free to add whatsoever you deem fit.

We can't deny that setting realistic sustainable goals and benchmarks is the key to success. Another wise move we should consider is to make use of rain water to water our plants which I was thinking of at one time. However I didn't pursue this due to other plans which made me  put this project on hold, but to put a big plastic pail given by my sister. Be mindful that all these small positive changes have great long-term impact on the environment especially if more people are also involved. Bear in mind that this is not rocket science, but numbers game. Just imagine the world population of more than 6.0 billion people, each making the small changes each day. Instantly, the effect can be felt in a BIG magnitude. 

2.    Make sustainable practice through educating and sharing

Thanks must be given to orgainsations such as Environment Booty and many other such organisations constantly reminding us to do so. Your efforts encourage us to be involved and be participative in these practices by sharing what we know and instill in our behaviors to become more environmentally responsible in our hearts.

3.    Actively participate in these noble activities

Climate change is a serious global threat, and it demands urgent and collective response. Therefore, it is time for us to show our undivided commitment to environmental responsibility by actively participating in these events and causes. In this connection, please send in your environmental friendly Bus Stop to our Miss Bus Stop Contest so as to let the service providers be aware of the bus stop of our choice we want in this planet. In this connection, we do hope all such organisations can also chip in to give away stuffs that are Environmental Friendly so as to equip us with such knowledge. Thank you. Here, we must act consistently to send out our message clearly and loudly.

4.    Modify your lifestyle

Reducing the environmental impact may require us to modify our lifestyle to be more responsible. For instance, consider sending email rather than the conventional way so that we can cut down paper usage. Opting for environmental friendly houses is another wise choice. Green car is in my next project and I shall update you in due course.

5.    Share your environmental accomplishments

Sharing and imparting knowledge is another positive affirmation to the environment. Never keep your environmental accomplishments a secret and let others follow your ways. Share the news with the public whenever there is an opportunity for you to do so, just like I do. It may be too late to prevent the climate change that has been taking place, but it is better than not doing anything positive. I believe it is still possible to protect the earth, as a whole, from its impacts to some extent. My advice is that more positive act is better. Thank you greatly for doing so.

6.    Lobbying local governments to increase environmental activities

The above examples I have mentioned above is beginning to pay us dividends and hope other countries will follow suit. For those countries which are more ahead than mine, please do us a favour and tell us more about what your country had done so that we will continue to lobby our local governments to do so.

The above discussion has clearly illustrated that we should not underestimate the little efforts and changes you and I can make that will result a huge difference to the environment in both short and long terms. So why are we not sending our vibration to them in a BIG way? After all, we have nothing to lose, but lots to gain. Let us unite and act now so as to leave behind a good legacy for the coming generations.

INFAMOUS POMELO FROM IPOH

This is another update for you especially for those who love Pomelo and do not know where to get it. I must say that Ipoh is famous for this and it can be considered as second to none which produce this fruit as I far as I know of. Please let me know should your view differ from mine. ANOTHER MENTOR OF MINE - MR KC SEE

Hi! Everyone,

I write to share with you some tremendous great moments I experienced while I was attending MY VERY FIRST CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL TRAINER COURSE AT SWISS GARDEN, KUALA LUMPUR, from Sept 10 to 11, 2011.  

For those who believe that a photo speaks a thousand words, I would like to hear what you have to say about the photos below. As far as I am concerned, the photos reflect well that I truly enjoyed every minute of our workshop from a international renowned speaker, Mr KC See. For those who have attended his workshop, you will agree with me that he is not only good of getting attention from all the participants, but he will conduct the workshop  in such a lively and effective way. I must say that he has prescribed to the tested and proven recipe to run his workshop. This result proven workshop was not only well received locally, but internationally. There were no surprises to hear so many of his success stories, but he was also so passionate in coaching whoever who have a desire to follow his passion to bring a better tomorrow for the world.

Here, I write to record my sincere thanks to my Sifu, facilitator and those staff involved in preparation of this workshop. Their hard work and efforts are greatly appreciated. They have made our educational journey not only enriching, but was also full of excitement and enjoyment. See and assess for yourselves based on our group's photos below.

The reason I record it here is that results needs action. Action needs energy. So, use your energy appropriately and you will reap its reward at a later stage. One is never too old to learn and learning is fun. Life long learning in today's world is unavoidable.

In this connection, I write to tell you the good news that there are lots of people out there who always wish to extend their hands to help. So, just step up and seek help if you so require. Ask and you will get. Today, we are living in the world which is so inter-dependent on each other. There is always a great tendency that someone needs your help and you need others as well especially during our walk of live. 

One thing I was so fascinated about is I obtained so many useful stuff, written by the great author -Mr KC See and other local writers. My advice to you is to take a bold action to step up and grasp the opportunity as it arises. You will stay status quo if you ignore or procrastinate about it. So, always stay alert and look for the opportunity, regardless of the state of the economy you are in now.  

One thing I write to share with you is that I couldn't be what I am today if I had not been influenced and impacted by others, especially those great heroes, authors and friends who have given numerous support and courage. One of the common goal that I learn from all these great speakers is that they have the common passion and belief to return back their skills, knowledge and experiences to the world they have been benefited from.

SUCCESS : HOW TO ACHIEVE PERPETUAL

To enhance its understanding further, our discussion today on how to achieve perpetual success should be view as an supplementary to this already popular topic and we hope you reap the maximum benefits out of it.
In order to achieve its end, there are the steps we need to go through thoroughly with you as follow:-

1. BELIEVE IN IT

First, we must recognise the truth of the power of human minds. It makes us distinguish distinctly from animals and make us the Kings in this planet. When we can conceive and believe in it, we can make it. As such, it is of paramount important that we are able to align our belief system into what believe. Believing that it works will drive our mind to search for solutions to make it happen. In one of my preceding articles, I do encourage you to replace the word "I'm Possible" to "impossible". By doing so, you will remove the top most obstacle in your mind. Thereafter, you may ask further :- How to make it happen?

2. DO NOT LET TRADITION PARALYSE OUR MINDS

Many of us; knowingly and unknowingly; are in a way conditioning our minds by the surroundings events we are exposed to. In a way, we are also influenced by such circumstances. If left un-check, we will be be drag into the beliefs of the majority who aimed to please the society we are living in. As a result, we are also ingrained with such a behaviour and are hesitant to change. Sad to say that only changes can bring us progress.

Conversely, we need to be receptive to new ideas, so to speak. Be experimenting with new ideas and do learn from your mistakes. Never be afraid of making mistakes. Mistake actually show us the right path to our discovery. Thomas Edison made 5,000 mistakes before he invenedt a light bulb. As such, I like to say that there is no failure in itself. Mistake indicates that this is not the right path to Success. You see now that failure is a small success in itself because you have discovered that this is not the right path. Try other paths, that's all. Hope I have not confuse you. If I do, please continue to read. You maybe clearer by the end of the article. If not, give it a deep thought.

3. BE CREATIVE

Just by believing in it will not bring you success, unless you put it into action. Then, how can Creativity come into play? Please share with us your thoughts. To me, it comes in many ways:- it not only helps us to find an intelligent short cut to solve our problems in hand; it may also give us solutions to overcome the constraints we are currently facing such as compliance to the legal requirements; resources and etc. It may also prompt us to re-look into other possibilities such as the processes involved. Here, you may reinvent the wheel or re-engineer the processes involved or the methods such as automation and etc.

Creativity offers us ways to solve our problems. Be mindful that if you want to stand out in the crowd, then creativity is one of the possible way. Another thing I need you to realise is that creativity is crucially required in all professionals namely law, accountancy ; architects etc..

In view of the keen competitive marketing environment, creativity and innovation play a very important roles in the business especially for those looking for a sustainable growth model.

4. CONSTANTLY REVIEW AND INCREASE YOUR CAPACITY

Feeling is a state of mind, so is Capacity. Frequently asking your self to increase your capacity will open doors to your minds to look for intelligent shortcuts. As some of you may be aware that I started to work at a very young age, in order to find time for my study. I learn to search for intelligent shortcut namely multi-tasking which I learn from my mum to save time. To achieve perpetual success in anything, you need to do better (in term of its processes, control) ; and increase the output ( in term of quality and quantity of its output.) In short, To do less and get more.

5. CONSTANTLY IMPROVING

To achieve perpetual success is to constantly asking yourself to do better than yesterday. Be mindful that self improvement has no limit. Listen to its answer in echo. Ask and you will get it.

No surprise that life learning is inevitable.

6. CONSTANTLY VIGILANT

Be observant at all times. Ask and listen whenever you can so as to ensure that you make sound decisions. Listen more and speak less so that you do not miss out on any opportunity. Observe and learn from those successful people, which was well advocated in Napoleon Hill's  book, Think and Grow Rich. If you have not read, please do yourself a favour and get it now.

7. STRETCH OUR MINDS TO ITS MAXIMUM

To achieve this end, you need to constantly stimulate your mind. I learn from the Mathematics stimulation that there is always a solution where you can find at the optimum point of anything and everything exactly like those parameters expressed in Mathematics problem. In real life, we always facing several issues (parameters) and at the same time we need to resolve these issues with constraints and yet we obtained the best solution out of all possible solutions. Therefore, you may need this Mathematics equation to work out the best solution for your problems in hand.
