James: When did you know you have turned into a" beautiful butterfly”?

In the year 2005, when God healed my cancer.

James: When did you first discover that you have colon cancer?

In year 2005

James: How did you feel thereafter? 

I thought my life was going to end. I wonder where I will go if I die because I was not a good Christian. I was so worried that I could not go to heaven. I started to pray. I said to God:"Father, I understand I am not perfect and I did a lot of mistakes in my life. Father please forgive me and if You grant me another chance, I will do it right"

James: What is your favorite thing in life? 

My favorite thing in life is to worship God

James: Tell us more about how you overcome this challenge. 

Thank God. He was with me during my hard times. I knew that I can't overcome the challenge myself. I surrender every area of my life to God. I knew God will make a way for me. God taught me a lesson. Change yourself if you can't change the situation. I am facing challenges everyday with no fear now. I am able to overcome any challenges with the strength from God.

James: Wow! This story sounds really inspiring and uplifting. Are you planning on writing into a book in the years to come? 

Yes...I wish I can but I am not good in writing books

James: So far what is your worst criticism/attacks, and how have you overcome it? 

In life there are always critics and naysayers, but I will think of them as sandpaper, they scratch and hurt me. In the end I am Polished and they are all used up. This is how I overcome all the critics and attacks.

James: What is the accomplishment that you are most proud of?

I have nothing to be proud of. All I have today is the grace from God.

James: What does your life look like after you have such a breakthrough result? 

I am having real peace and happiness life now. I live for God.

James: Tell us your guiding principle that governs your life?  

The word of God would be my guide. As I soak in the wisdom of God's word and apply it, I can know true success by His hand. 

James: How have you cultivated these values? 

Be humble and make God the center of my life. 

James: Do you have any advice for people looking to achieve their goal? 

I am not in the position to advise people. I just want to share with people that they should turn to God while they still have time. You find God, and then you will have everything in your life.

I was accepted for my 2nd choice. I can still recall that I was so sad for not being able to realize my dream to be a lawyer. 
( Why? Because it's cool to be a lawyer -- and it's shown in L.A Law  )

My parents can't afford to send me to oversea to study law either. Ok! I told myself: just give it a try after all it's still my 2nd choice.

Here I'm. Graduated in BA ( Hons ). 

Got a job. Left the job. Got another job. 
Quitted. Set up my own businesses. Sold them. And build another one....etc.

I wonder, how my life would be if I've ever become a lawyer.

My lawyer told me: Luckily you're not one! LOL!

Ok! To cut the story short. 

I would like to share with you, for those who obtain 4As flat and never manage to secure a place in the local universities or never the course of your choice...

Don't give up! Keep on appealing with few alternatives and at the same times, look for other opportunities, for e.g. apply for scholarships for foreign universities.

I believe there're always possibilities when you keep on looking.

The most important thing. 

You're still the best for coming up to this far. Acknowledge yourself for all the hard works.

Don't ever make yourself wrong just because of somebody else decision.

WHO IS AN ENTREPRENEUR

Have you ever struggle with your entrepreneurship? Do you think you need to be a rocket scientist or have a brilliant idea to begin as an entrepreneur ? Do you ever doubt that you could turn to be an entrepreneur?

You are not alone in your thoughts. Even great successful entrepreneurs like Steve Jobs had at one time struggled with their entrepreneurship and their insecurities. Many real examples are found in the world who poured out their pain, grief, anger, bitterness, depression and sorrow to the world. You are not the first to wrestle with it, nor will you be the last. 

Entrepreneurship is not complicated. We make it that way. This is mainly due to our misappropriated pre-conception, value and false belief to it. Everyone is gifted in some things. The real issue is whether we really know our true inner self, passion and skill.

Before we tackle the art of entrepreneurship, let’s define its true meaning. How would you define it? Here are very broad definitions which can be found in the Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Entrepreneurship is the act and art of being an entrepreneur or one who undertakes innovations or introducing new things, finance and business acumen in an effort to transform innovations into economic goods. This may result in new organizations or may be part of revitalizing mature organizations in response to a perceived opportunity. The most obvious form of entrepreneurship is that of starting new businesses (referred as startup company); however, in recent years, the term has been extended to include social and political forms of entrepreneurial activity. 

Entrepreneurial activities are substantially different depending on the type of organization and creativity involved. Entrepreneurship ranges in scale from solo projects (even involving the entrepreneur only part-time) to major undertakings creating many job opportunities. Many "high value" entrepreneurial ventures seek venture capital or angel funding (seed money) in order to raise capital to build the business. 

Many kinds of organizations now exist to support would-be entrepreneurs including specialized government agencies, business incubators, science parks, and some NGOs. In more recent times, the term entrepreneurship has been extended to include elements not related necessarily to business formation activity such as conceptualizations of entrepreneurship as a specific mindset (see also entrepreneurial mindset) resulting in entrepreneurial initiatives e.g. in the form of social entrepreneurship, political entrepreneurship, or knowledge entrepreneurship have emerged.

With the latest evolution, it is rather clear and obvious that you need certain specific mindset to be an entrepreneur so to speak. It is also very interesting to note that the 'entrepreneur' and 'employee' mindsets are very much different in term of its meaning and perspective, but one is not necessarily better than the other. It boils down to each individual preference and liking. Bear in mind that everyone is unique and gifted in one way or the other.

Before we proceed further, we should seriously and honestly ask ourselves whether we would want to be an entrepreneur being clear and comfortable with our chosen definition and field of expertise. 

The real attractive reward is that you would reap a lot of freedom and would be able to live on your own terms?

If so, you are in the right place. I am about to introduce you to a great good approach which will allow you to turn all possibilities to be entrepreneur than you may have ever dreamed possible.

Here, I prescribed the digging deep tool that got me so deeply rooted into the core of who I am, and what can make me unshakable and unstoppable – the real and authentic me. This is critically important for me to find out who I am really is, my passion and true purpose on earth. One of the surest ways to ensure the healthy growth of the endeavour I undertake is that I must truly enjoy what I am doing. Steve Jobs.

Through the aid of the above tool, I was able to uncover those blockages, letting go and move through my life’s challenges to organically create a life of passion, autonomy, authencity and discover my purpose filled life.

One more distinction we need to understand deeply is with regards to an 'employee mindset' and being an employee. Loads of employees have entrepreneurial mentalities that make them such great workers who understand their bosses' perspective. They work as if they work for themselves and they tend to obtain job satisfaction through certain achievement and fulfillment, so to speak.

However, for those with 'employee mindset' usually less self-confidence and insecurity, that's why they want job security much stronger than the earlier group. They want others to create job for them and bestow it upon them. There's nothing wrong with having a job. However, you must know where you truly belong to. This is to ensure that you live life like you will never regret. 

Once you discovered your passion, you must not let anyone stop you from pursuing your dream. If you have not, continue to explore till you find it. Don’t wait and stop. However, if you have, what are you waiting for? Let’s get started.

My Review

Raine should be happy now. She knows about the Norns, knows about the valkyrie and her family is happy. She love Torin and he cares for her. There is just a few problems. Everyone at school thinks she is a witch, she has to deal with knowing what really happened at the school as a tragedy and Torin doesn't remember her as his memories of her were took away. Now she has to get him to remember her, train and figure out what she wants to do and figure out what secrets there are unknown about her and those around her.

I loved the first book in this series and was thrilled to see where the second book went. Let me just say I was in no way prepared for the twist and turns this book took. If I could have guessed at what would happen in it I would be so wrong. The author does a fantastic job taking this book places that are a refreshing change. All the characters are wonderful to get to know. The second book really expands and let's you get to know them all better. Even the ones you love to hate you still want to read more about. I know I am being vague but I never give spoilers. If you are looking for a wonderful book on Norse Mythology, a paranormal book, or just one that makes you beg for more try this series. It is so awesome and addictive.

“Oh, see me after class, Ms. Cooper. I have a folder with missed assignments and a breakdown of the concepts we covered while you were gone. If you need help, I’ll be available in my office this week after school. When you’re ready, I have several quizzes you missed.”

No Saturday classes? Yes! I glanced at Torin from the corner of my eye and found him still watching me. How could he not remember being in this class with me?

He pointed at his eyes with two fingers then at the teacher. Face warming up again, I stared ahead. 

At the end of the class, I was collecting my things when a soft scent of lavender reached my nose, and I looked up. Lavania stood beside my desk. She was even more beautiful up close, her porcelain skin flawless, her lips lush, and her gray eyes wide like a doe’s. How could any guy resist her?

“I’m Lavania Celestina Ravilla, but you can call me Lavania,” she said, her voice soft and melodic, her smile genuine and sweet. But I wasn’t fooled. She was a Valkyrie, which meant she could move like the wind and flatten a car with a punch. 

“Lorraine Cooper, but everyone calls me Raine.” I glanced at Torin to see his reaction. His expression was unreadable.

Lavania grinned. “So you are the Mortal everyone is talking about here and there.”

“There?” I asked.

“Rain with an E,” Torin murmured.

My head whipped toward him, and I, momentarily, forgot about my conversation with Lavania. “You remembered.”

His eyebrows shot up. “Remember what?”

“The day we met.”

He gave me a look that said he thought I had a few loose screws. “Of course. You ran out of your house when I pulled up and k—”

“Never mind.”

“Of course, you two already met,” Lavania said and chuckled. “And we’re neighbors.” She said it as though it explained something. 

Torin’s face grew red, which was intriguing. He wasn’t the blushing type. Still, I hated that they shared a secret, even if it had something to do with my house. “Ah, excuse me. My next class is in the south wing and—”

“So is ours. We’ll walk with you.” Lavania slipped her arm through mine, effectively stopping me from leaving. Until I knew the nature of her relationship with Torin, she would stay on my hate-list. “Since you’re my protégé, we should be friends,” she continued. “Stop by the house for a chat this evening. We can get to know each other.”
