In the interview by Paul Bradshaw with Rick Warren, Rick said: People ask me, What is the purpose of life?
And I respond: In a nutshell, life is preparation for eternity. We were not made to last forever, and God wants us to be with Him.One day my heart is going to stop, and that will be the end of my body-- but not the end of me. I may live 60 to 100 years on earth, but I am going to spend trillions of years in eternity. This is the warm-up act - the dress rehearsal. God wants us to practice on earth what we will do forever in eternity.
We were made by God and for God, and until you figure that out, life isn't going to make sense.
Life is a series of problems: Either you are in one now, you're just coming out of one, or you're getting ready to go into another one.
The reason for this is that God is more interested in your character than your comfort; God is more interested in making your life holy than He is in making your life happy. We can be reasonably happy here on earth, but that's not the goal of life. The goal is to grow in character.
This past year has been the greatest year of my life but also the toughest, with my wife, Kay, getting cancer. I used to think that life was hills and valleys - you go through a dark time, then you go to the mountaintop, back and forth. I don't believe that anymore. Rather than life being hills and valleys, I believe that it's kind of like two rails on a railroad track, and at all times you have something good and something bad in your life. No matter how good things are in your life, there is always something bad that needs to be worked on.
And no matter how bad things are in your life, there is always something good you can thank God for..
You can focus on your purposes, or you can focus on your problems: If you focus on your problems, you're going into self-centeredness, which is my problem, my issues, my pain.' But one of the easiest ways to get rid of pain is to get your focus off yourself and onto God and others.
We discovered quickly that in spite of the prayers of hundreds of thousands of people, God was not going to heal Kay or make it easy for her- It has been very difficult for her, and yet God has strengthened her character, given her a ministry of helping other people, given her a testimony, drawn her closer to Him and to people.
You have to learn to deal with both the good and the bad of life.
God didn't put me on earth just to fulfill a to-do list. He's more interested in what I am than what I do. That's why we're called human beings, not human doings.
Happy moments, PRAISE GOD.
Difficult moments, SEEK GOD.
Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD.
Painful moments, TRUST GOD.
Every moment, THANK GOD.

New Heaven
Dear treasured visitors,
Recently I have read the book of Revelation and I write to share with you especially in regards to chapter 21.
For your easy reference, I listed several verses from Revelation 21 for your immediate attention and consideration so as you will be benefited as I do.
The good news is that the heaven is REAL and it is supreme importance not to make such unaffordable mistake, for not heading and reaching that desired destiny. Most assuredly, that there is no return for anyone to earth to undo he had done prior to judgment day.
1. Now I saw new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.
4. "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
7. "He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
8. "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murders, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
Now, you see that God so love the world and He tried every possible mean, even sent His Son, to save us because He want you to inherit all from Him; rather than going through the second death. Choice is yours.
So, repent and be born again so that you can see the kingdom of God. Trust Him wholeheartedly and serve Him mighty since He had blessed you so much. Let Him to navigate human beings to do all things for the good of ourselves. His law is perfect and only the human beings manipulate for his hidden agenda, rather for His glory. Because of sin,inherit from Adam, that caused us to find justifications to support our deceiving acts, and blame others or act of God, instead of the doer. God can take it because of Grace. If it is truly act of God (sound familiar)and God is so bad as the way the doer see it, then he shall be send to hell instantly so as to make his remark true. Because of God grace, he still be given chance to repent. Therefore, never take advantage of His grace so as to be smart, you shall regret later. And whatever consequence is the cause of your action. You must be clear about this fundamental point.

Life's Lessons
Dear treasured visitors,
Recently I have received through email, the wonderful LIFE'S LESSONS, written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio from my good friend, Mr TG Lim, who has shown his cares and concerns on me.
Below is exactly written by this great man:-
"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most-requested column I've ever written. My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick.
Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry;God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words ' In five years, will this matter?'
27. Always choose life.
28. Forgive everyone everything.
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's , we'd grab ours back..
41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
42. The best is yet to come.
43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

Be aware
In the book of John
7:18 "He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness in Him,
7:19 "Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill me?"
7:24 "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."
Here, God is so graceful that He revealed to me that All Glory, Mercy, Grace, Holy, and other titles belongs to Him. Let us be conduit of Him and let His glory shown to the whole world, as Light. Let us be fully aware that we, at all in instances, should not claim such glory. Let His righteousness guide our hearts and souls all the times.
7:19 reminds us to honor the Heavenly Father and Son. Don't be smart, but observe the Law, given through Moses, righteously and not according to our flesh, which led Him to death, as the way we see it. He can take it through the Grace, The Father has given Him. Anyway, He is still alive, not one but more than one till to-date.
Whereas 7:24 reminded us again, never judge the book by cover - the way our carnal minds lead us consciously and unconsciously. However, be brave enough to put forward the righteous judgment so as to save soul FOR HIS GLORY.
Let we pray to Him so that we can stay connected with Him all times, so as to uphold His Law. I ray in His wonderful name, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Do you ever wonder why John the baptism prophesied that the one who comes, after him, is much greater than him, who will baptize you with the spirit.
Here, you can see clearly that even the John Baptism also acknowledged and recognized that He is very much greater than him.
The truth reveals to me that He, who is the Lord, is alive since the day since we were created. One of the criminals, who was prosecuted on the cross, next to Him was also baptized by Him, either the day before he was born. It is because, Our Lord is with the Father. Alternatively, he was baptized by the Lord Jesus Christ, because He is already with the God at that time. Do not forget that Our Lord Jesus Christ is the one who can baptize anyone with the spirit, and not through the water either from sprinkle or sub-merge into the water as the ways we normally understand, is much greater than anyone on earth.
Similarly, it is not surprising that our Lord Jesus Christ can able to baptize anyone with the spirit even till to-date and forever because He is still alive, despite the fact that many people have seen that He already died as a man, but never forget the truth that He was resurrected by the Heavenly Father. Therefore, let us no in doubt that He is still alive and able to do so forever and ever. Trust, by now, you are convicted and convinced to this fundamental truth.
Let us be very clear on these issue, and serve Him mightily and do not debate this issue any longer and save the time from entering into unnecessary debate. Let us be born again so that we can see the kingdom of God, exactly described in John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Let us pray to Him and ask Him to reveal even to you if you have other interpretation than the above.
See you again, let us sharpen each other so as to use the rest of our life to serve Him mightily because God has done so much for us, despite our rebellion against Him, exactly reflected in John 3:16. “For God so love the world that He gave His only and begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not be perished but have everlasting life.

Teacher: History is a very interesting subject. It tells you about what had happened in the past.
Student: Please teacher, I don't think I want to study history.
Teacher: Why?
Student: There is no future in it.
Teacher : Ted, if your father has $10 and you ask him for $6, how much would your father still have?
Ted : $10.
Teacher : You don't know maths.
Ted : You don't know my father!
Mother : David, come here.
David : Yes, mum?
Mother : You really disappoint me. Your results are getting worse.
David : But I will only get my report book tomorrow.
Mother : I know that. But I am going to Hong Kong tomorrow, so I am scolding you now.
Father : Why did you fail your mathematics test?
Son : On Monday, teacher said 3+5=8
Father : So?
Son : On Tuesday, she said 4+4=8 And on Wednesday, she said 6+2=8.. If she can't make up her mind, how do I know the right answer?
A mother and son were doing dishes while the father and daughter were watching TV in the living room. Suddenly, there was a loud crash of breaking plates, then complete silence. The daughter turned to look at her father.
Daughter : It's mummy!
Father : How do you know?
Daughter : She didn't say anything.
Girl: Do you love me?
Boy: Yes Dear
Girl: Would you die for me?
Boy: No, mine is undying love
Man: How old is your father?
Boy: As old as me
Man: How can that be?
Boy: He became a father only when I was born
Waiter: I've stewed liver, boiled tongue and frog's leg.
Customer: Don't tell me your problems. Give me the menu card.
Teacher : Simon, your composition on 'My Dog' is exactly the same as your brother's. Did u copy his?
Simon : No, teacher, it's the same dog!
Father : Your teacher says she finds it impossible to teach you anything!
Son : That's why I say she's no good!
Teacher: 'Where were u born?'
Student: ' Singapore , Sir.'
Teacher: 'Which part?'
Student: 'All of me, Sir.'
A teacher was asking her class: 'What is the difference between 'unlawful' and 'illegal'?'
Only one hand shot up.
'Ok, answer, Joan' said the teacher.
''unlawful' is when u do something the law doesn't allow and 'illegal' is a sick eagle.'
Teacher: 'How come you do not comb your hair?'
Ah Kow: 'No comb, Sir.'
Teacher: 'Use your dad's then.'
Ah Kow: 'No hair, Sir.'
A boy came home from school with his exam results.
'What did u get?' asked his father.
'My marks are under water,' said the boy.
'What do u mean 'under water'?'
'They are all below 'C' (sea) level'

Do not feel a shame if you are not truly understand its true meaning because the ruler of Jews named Nicodemus, Pharisee also does not understand it true meaning. John 3:1 and 10, Jesus answered and said to him, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things?"

As you know that every parent wants to give the best, according to their individual rating, but most than often it turns out to be otherwise. So, do the Heavenly Father, who is the creator of heaven and earth.He has given the best to His only and Begotten Son.
Similarly, the Heavenly Father will give the best to whoever believe in His Son. Exactly reflected in John 3:16. This is the truth, the Heavenly Father will not hold back anything what He has given to His Only and begotten Son. So whoever believe in His Son will be given the best as well. This is the Truth and not too good to be the truth.
The heavenly Father, is the wealthiest of all and whoever believe in His Son will not be lacking of anything. His grace is more than sufficient to fix all defects, be it physically, mentally or any other form. Do not forget everything and anything is created through His Words. It is the truth and that why it is no surprising than His word can bring the death to life. Nothing is impossible through Word. It is not teh suspension of natural law, but operate in higher law. Divine law, so to speak.

The Truth will set you free
Dear valued visitors,
We, at this blog, are always seeking the truth and we believe that you seek you will find it. That's the word from the above and not from us. Though the blog is meant to lift you up. Here, we like to share with you that the "you" as the blog means it is referring to us as well. You may ask how can it happened. Thank to The above, from the above who has revealed to us that what we wrote here is from Him, hence you is refer to anyone and everyone on earth, including ourselves.
Nothing is impossible to the above. That's why you see miracle - is not suspension of natural law, but subject to higher law (Divine Law).
Today, we write to let us know the good news that the Truth will set you free completely, from all illnesses, fears, doubts, everything and anything on earth. You will attain this only through His Word, which give life, resurrection, anything and everything. That's why our Heavenly Father wants us to ground His word in our hearts and souls. Once it is properly rooted in the soul with His word, it will grow until it attain exactly like His only and begotten Son. His Son has shown us through the entire process - He has finished the work. To save the world and not condemn the world. (Read John 3:16) From here, we will be able to see the impossible and realize that the Heavenly Father want the best for whoever believe Him, through His Son. The Heavenly Father wants the best for all who believe in Him. He never use force, but give you free will to choose. He also knows that whoever see this, have aligned his heart and soul to His perspective and truly understand Him completely. Then the individual will submit to Him voluntarily and completely trust Him.
Now you can see that He wants you to live your life to its fullest - no complain in everything and anything. Never doubt He is in control every second. What we need to do is to stay focus on Him and Him to guide you accordingly. Pray to Him and listen to His voice and response to it accordingly. Do not let the event surrounding you influence you, stay focus on Him.
He is in control all the times and we must ensure that our soul stay connect to Him, just like the vine and the branch, the branch will continue to draw the nutrient from the vine. Similarly, we also need to draw His grace so that we can grow and stay alive forever and ever. He knows everything and anything and He is in everywhere. He wanted to guide us until His word really grow in our heart and soul to its fullest, exactly like He did to His Son.
Whoever believe His Son, will be accepted by Him as His son. Similarly He also will give you the best, nothing but the best which will truly set you completely free. So that you will not fear anything and even fear itself exactly written in Philippians 4:13 I can do everything through Christ, who strengthen me.
He will show you everything and you are fully convince and convicted that you are assured of what you hope for. What fear will you have, which is worse than death. Look at all saints who have completed the race, never even afraid of death because His word says whoever believe in Him will have eternal life.
In this connection, may I share with you a good news. The good news is that God loved the world so much that he gave His one and only Son. Anyone who believes in Him will not die but will have eternal life.(John 3:16)
Here, it well illustrate that you don't need to do anything like your carnal mind told you, but just believe in Him because He has done everything for us. That's why He cried out " Finished" and He has completed the mission His Father has given to Him. He has done everything to save you and I because we, human beings, cannot do good by our own selves. Therefore, it is not appropriate for us to help ourselves.
That's the Heavenly Father has the integral plan, from Mosses to Christ. The whole episode to complete His master plan. One man (Adam) sin, the world sin. Similarly One man (Christ) save, the world being save. We must always get the equation right.
Similarly, the law through Mosses is temporary or act as Tutor and Grace through Christ complete the whole of the Heavenly Father's plan. We must align to His understanding. You can only be saved by Grace and not Law. That's why He say the Law will not perfect you, otherwise Christ died on Cross in vain.
It is so simple and to be fruitful you must trust Him wholeheartedly with my body, mind and soul. It is simple yet true. It may appear too good to be true, yet it is the truth. He knows everything and anything because He is a mighty and living God, who creates the earth and heaven far earlier than we were born. He can even number our hairs, which we ourselves do not know even though it is being part of us.
The above well illustrate how much He loves us so much and want the best and not the second best for us. He is sovereign, and wanted to give the best to us exactly what He has given to His Son, Jesus Christ. Similarly, He want you to inherit everything, like His Son. He treat you equally important like His Son and want you to inherit all and everything He has.
By now, you are able to see all these crystal clear His intention for the good of yourself. Therefore, let Him continue to guide us and we will press on to attain the goal He laid for us.
His word, which is forever true and will not change over time.
We, at this blog, will continually write what we receive from Him - the Truth because the Truth will bring glory to Him and believe that everything is from Him. That is appropriate that everything shall go back to Him.

The Turth will prevail
Technology has evolved and make the world smaller. Everything is possible by clicking a few buttons. Easy, fast, effective and efficient - that is the new trends for every business transactions and dealings, so to speak.
As a result of this new development, INTERNET has become the most powerful device today to communicate with the rest of the world. It is very easy and fast to communicate with anyone without any barriers so long as the other can access to it.
Therefore, we, at this blog, urge you not to be afraid of it if you are not well verse of it. Practice, practice and practice - you are assured of mastering the skill. Nothing will be worse than fear, itself. People fear because of uncertainty of its results or consequences.
One of the common ways to communicate is through blogs. Blogs are used to express individual views, experiences, and knowledge on certain topics under discussion.
A string of comments will normally follow the blog topic until it is withdrawn and put into an archive or destroyed. It is therefore can be a good reference or the way to impart individual knowledge for betterment of the world.
Normally, when using blogs, the participant keys in the message and once done, it would be uploaded into the blog spot. The ideas, expressions are almost spontaneous and do not go through the mind of the blogger. In this way, it is reflect an honest and will not be tainted with any bias, favour or fabrication.
The process takes place either instantly or would only be uploaded after the message has been censored and edited.
Which is the best mode for blog messages, free or censored? Many of you might say free. I too prefer the same.
However, there are some arguments that it may be abused of the freedom allowed in the blog message. Similarly it can be true that the irresponsible and inconsiderate checker or censors may also abused the authority entrusted to that person, which I trust everyone is clear and do not need any further illustration.
We, at this blog, do understand that either way never solve this fundamental issue, well proven in the history books. What is more pertinent issue is to have a clean heart and whatever you do always do it with sincere and conscious mind, heart and soul. What goes around will come around.
Let us pray hard and our hearts and souls be guided by the mighty and living God, who knows everything , more than ourselves.

FEARS
FEAR is something that can make you feel unpleasant, be it REAL or PERCEIVED.
FEAR is good and also bad to individual. You must fully understand it, deal with it and overcome it, so that you can use it for your good.
Fear may empower you from doing something that may be harmful to you, such as smoking or drinking. We called the healthy fear.
Similarly, it may dis-empowering you from doing something good for you, such as public speaking. We termed it as unhealthy fear.
Now, you can see that FEAR itself neither absolutely good nor absolutely bad to you. It is very much depend on how the individual deal and make use of it. Here, it is absolute right to say that it serves as two-edge sword.
It can either motivate you to achieve something your desired goal provided you use it correctly and for your advantage. Conversely, it may act as barrier stopping you from progressing towards your goal. Therefore, you must know precisely how to use it for your benefit.
There is not an absolute good or absolute bad and very much depend on the individual as how you manage with it. We are talking something relatively good or bad. It does not mean anything to you if really understand the true meaning of it.
It will bring benefit to you if you use it wisely. Similarly, it may bring disaster to you if you use it unwisely.
Therefore, it must be truly understood and assessed it correctly. No matter what you, most often than not, deal with it. You must always in control of it and do not let it control you. Saying is easy and doing is totally different, if you truly understand what I mean.
To deal and overcome it, you must be able to direct and redirect your mind / perception and stay control of yourself, focus on the right solution rather problem so that it can assist you to overcome it.
In this case, it is a good practice that you always focus on your goal rather than problem. Always stay focus on your pre-set objective/goal and never let your focus swing to other non pertinent issue such as the environment, or the audience or anything other than your objective/goal.
Always remember that our Lord has set you free and you can do everything through Him, who strengthen you. Philippians 4:13.

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE OR CAN'T

Jessica Cox, 25, a girl born without arms, stands inside an aircraft. The girl from Tucson, Arizona got the Sport Pilot certificate lately and became the first pilot licensed to fly using only her feet.
Jessica Cox of Tucson was born without arms, but that has only stopped her from doing one thing: using the word "can't."
Her latest flight into the seemingly impossible is becoming the first pilot licensed to fly using only her feet.
With one foot manning the controls and the other delicately guiding the steering column, Cox, 25, soared to achieve a Sport Pilot certificate. Her certificate qualifies her to fly a light-sport aircraft to altitudes of 10,000 feet.
"She's a good pilot. She's rock solid," said Parrish Traweek, 42, the flying instructor at San Manuel's Ray Blair Airport.
Parrish Traweek runs PC Aircraft Maintenance and Flight Services and has trained many pilots, some of whom didn't come close to Cox's abilities.
"When she came up here driving a car," Traweek recalled, "I knew she'd have no problem flying a plane."
Doctors never learned why she was born without arms, but she figured out early on that she didn't want to use prosthetic devices.
Jessica Cox, 25, earned a license to fly airplanes on October 10, 2008. Jessica also has two black belts in Tae Kwan-Do, a college degree in Psychology, and a thriving career as a motivational speaker. What doesn't Jessica Cox have? Arms.A bilateral congenital limb deficiency doesn't stop Ms. Cox from achieving and surpassing her goals. From birth on, her feet became her hands. She can drive a car, type 25 words per minute, and fly an airplane using her feet, without any special adaptations. She is the first woman without arms to earn a license to fly.
"I highly encourage people with disabilities to consider flying," Cox said. "It helps reverse the stereotype that people with disabilities are powerless into the belief that they are powerful and capable of setting high goals and achieving them."
Jessica earned her Sport Pilot certificate after training with Able Flight, a North Carolina flight training company that specializes in helping people with disabilities learn to fly. Ms. Cox won an Able Flight scholarship and was able to train with instructor Parrish Traweek free of charge.

Have Faith, My Friend
Whenever there's a problem,
Wherever there's despair
Just bow your head in prayer and know
That God will always be there.
When things look bleak and dreary,
When it seems that no one cares,

I know sometimes it's hard,

在從紐約到波士頓的火車上，我發現我隔壁座的老先生是位盲人。
我的博士論 文指導 教授是位盲人，因此我和盲人談起話來，一點困難也沒有，
我還弄了一杯熱騰騰的咖啡給他喝。
當時正值洛杉磯種族暴動的時期，我們的談話因此就談到了種族偏見的問題。
老先生告訴我，他是美國南方人，從小就認為黑人低人一等，他家的佣人是黑人，
他在南方時從未和黑人一起吃過飯，也從未和黑人上過學。
到了北方念書，他有次被同學指定辦一次野餐會，他居然在請帖上註明
「我們保留拒絕任何人的權利」。
在南方，這句話就是
「我們不歡迎黑人」的意思，當時舉班譁然，他還被系主任抓去罵了一頓。
他說有時碰到黑人店員，付錢的時候，
總將錢放在櫃台上，讓黑人拿去，而不肯和他的手有任何接觸。
我笑著問他：
「那你當然不會和黑人結婚了！」
他大笑起來：
「我不和他們來往，如何會和黑人結婚？
說實話，我當時認為任何白人和黑人結婚都會使父母蒙辱。」
可是，他在波士頓唸研究所的時候，發生了車禍。
雖然大難不死，可是眼睛完全失明，什麼也看不見了。
他進入一家盲人重建院，在那裡學習如何用點字技巧，如何靠手杖走路等等。
慢慢地也終於能夠獨立生活了。
他說：「可是我最苦惱的是，我弄不清楚對方是不是黑人。」
我向我的心理輔導員談我的問題，他也儘量開導我，我非常信賴他，什麼都告訴他，將他看成自己的良師益友。
有一天，那位輔導員告訴我，他本人就是位黑人。
從此以後，我的偏見就慢慢完全消失了，我看不出人是白人，還是黑人。
對我來講，我只知道他是好人，還是壞人，至於膚色，對我已毫無意義了。
車子快到波士頓，老先生說：
「我失去了視力，也失去了偏見，多麼幸福的事！」
在月台上，老先生的太太已在等他，兩人親切地擁抱。
我赫然發現他太太是一位滿頭銀髮的黑人。
我這才發現，我視力良好，因此我偏見猶在，多麼不幸的事！
這讓我想起讀過的小王子...

最價有值的事物不是眼睛能夠看到的事物.....
在從紐約到波士頓的火車上，我發現我隔壁座的老先生是位盲人。
我的博士論 文指導 教授是位盲人，因此我和盲人談起話來，一點困難也沒有，
我還弄了一杯熱騰騰的咖啡給他喝。
當時正值洛杉磯種族暴動的時期，我們的談話因此就談到了種族偏見的問題。
老先生告訴我，他是美國南方人，從小就認為黑人低人一等，他家的佣人是黑人，
他在南方時從未和黑人一起吃過飯，也從未和黑人上過學。
到了北方念書，他有次被同學指定辦一次野餐會，他居然在請帖上註明
「我們保留拒絕任何人的權利」。
在南方，這句話就是
「我們不歡迎黑人」的意思，當時舉班譁然，他還被系主任抓去罵了一頓。
他說有時碰到黑人店員，付錢的時候，
總將錢放在櫃台上，讓黑人拿去，而不肯和他的手有任何接觸。
我笑著問他：
「那你當然不會和黑人結婚了！」
他大笑起來：
「我不和他們來往，如何會和黑人結婚？
說實話，我當時認為任何白人和黑人結婚都會使父母蒙辱。」
可是，他在波士頓唸研究所的時候，發生了車禍。
雖然大難不死，可是眼睛完全失明，什麼也看不見了。
他進入一家盲人重建院，在那裡學習如何用點字技巧，如何靠手杖走路等等。
慢慢地也終於能夠獨立生活了。
他說：「可是我最苦惱的是，我弄不清楚對方是不是黑人。」
我向我的心理輔導員談我的問題，他也儘量開導我，我非常信賴他，什麼都告訴他，將他看成自己的良師益友。
有一天，那位輔導員告訴我，他本人就是位黑人。
從此以後，我的偏見就慢慢完全消失了，我看不出人是白人，還是黑人。
對我來講，我只知道他是好人，還是壞人，至於膚色，對我已毫無意義了。
車子快到波士頓，老先生說：
「我失去了視力，也失去了偏見，多麼幸福的事！」
在月台上，老先生的太太已在等他，兩人親切地擁抱。
我赫然發現他太太是一位滿頭銀髮的黑人。
我這才發現，我視力良好，因此我偏見猶在，多麼不幸的事！
這讓我想起讀過的小王子...

『最有價值的事物不是眼睛能夠看到的事物,你必須要用你的心去感受.』

人到老年，會突然 〝醒悟〞：生命是有盡頭的。
這種感悟會使他們行動起來，去做一些他們很想做但以前總也沒有做的事情，有時，他們甚至用他們〝意料不到〞的方式。
人到老年，才真正〝認識自己〞：
也才真正屬於自己，並且用一種寬容、舒適和誠實的方式接受自己。
人到老年，方才〝明白〞：
東奔西走竭力想去改變的不是別的，恰是他們自己。幾十年的時光換來的不是別的，而是〝心靜如水。〞

人到老年，開始明白，〝衰老〞不是從中年開始，而是從對生活的〝厭倦〞開始的。
人到老年，開始明白：孤獨、寂寞、痛苦、失敗，是人生不可缺少的調味品，因此，〝善待〞它們，就是〝善待〞真實的人生。
人到老年，不再有少年的狂妄、青年的浪漫，
更多的則是對生活的 …感悟和理解。
人到老年，不再擁有童年的笑臉和青春的美麗，卻常常在…午夜夢回。
人到老年，能坦然地面對自己的平凡。
他們明白，並非人人都能成功，人人都能大有作為；但做人也是一生的事業，〝只要自己奮鬥過〞、追求過，失敗了又何妨？
人到老年，〝胸懷〞開始變得像〝大海〞一樣，

一生中最重要的人
事情發生在美國的一所大學。
在快下課時教授對同學們說?'我和大家做個遊戲，誰願意配合我一下。'
一女生走上台來。
教授說?'請在黑板上寫下你難以割捨的二十個人的名字。'
女生照做了。有她的鄰居、朋友以、親人等等。
教授說 ?'請你劃掉一個這裏面你認為最不重要的人。'
女生劃掉了一個她鄰居的名字。
教授又說?' 請你再劃掉一個。'
女生又劃掉了一個她的同事。
教授再說?'請你再劃掉一個。 '

最後，黑板上只剩下了三個人，她的父母、丈夫和孩子。
教室非常安靜，同學們靜靜的看著教授，感覺這似乎已不再是一個遊戲了。
教授平靜的說 ?'請再劃掉一個。'
女生遲疑著，艱難的做著選擇.....
她舉起粉筆，劃掉了父母的名字。
'請再劃掉一個。' 身邊又傳來了教授的聲音。
她驚呆了，顫巍巍地舉起粉筆緩慢而堅決的又劃掉了兒子的名字。
緊接著，她哇的一聲哭了，樣子非常痛苦。
教授等她平靜了一下，問道?'和你最親的人應該是你的父母和你的孩子，因為父母是養育的人，孩子是你親生的，而丈夫是可以重新再尋找的，為什麼丈夫反倒是你最難割捨的人呢？ '
同學們靜靜地看著她，等待著她的回答。
女生平靜而又緩慢地說道?'隨著時間的推移，父母會先我而去，孩子長大成人後肯定也會離我而去，真正陪伴我度過一生的只有 我的丈夫

A Valentine Prayer
I pray you have
All the love you need and want
Whether it be the romantic kind
The kind we know comes and goes
Sometimes ebbs & flows
Burning in newness
But hopefully simmering into
A lasting comfort
As it ages over time
Or the love of family
The warmth of blood
Of the bonds of kinship
Of belonging
With those whom you travel life
From the dawn of birth
To the dusk of death
Or the love of friends
That caring of people
With whom you choose
To spend your days
For they voluntarily love you
Just for being
Exactly who you are
And the love of God
Our blessed Creator
Who will love you
His unique creation,
Unconditionally love you,
Warts, quirks and all,
Every single minute of your life.
While the other loves
May let you down
May pass you by
Know that you are
God's Valentine
And His heart is yours

on every subject.
Release me from the craving to straighten out
everyone’s affairs.
Keep me from the recital of endless detail.
Give me wings to get to the point.
Seal my lips when I am inclined to tell of my
aches and pains. They are increasing with
the years and my love to speak of them
grows sweeter as time goes by.
Teach me the glorious lesson that occasionally
I may be wrong.
Make me thoughtful but not nosey;
helpful but not bossy.
With my vast store of wisdom and experience it
does seem a pity not to use it all. But You know,
Lord, that I want a few friends at the end.

St. Bernadett Body after 122 years.
This one of the 200+ miracle facts of incorruptible bodies can only be trace to most of the declared saints of the Roman Catholic Church.
'Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.' Psalm 37:4
Body after 122 years.!!!
These are the pictures of St.Bernadette who died 122 years
ago in Lourdes , France and was buried; her body was only discovered 30 years ago. After church officials decided to examine it they discovered Her body is still fresh until today and if you ever go to Lourdes , France you can see in the church in Lourdes .. Her body isn't decomposing because during her lifetime, the mother of Jesus would always appear to her and give messages and advice to all mankind on the right way to live on this earth. Many miracles have taken place in this place of Lourdes an still do until today.

「我們到桃源街吃晚飯，飯後散步到中山堂附近，坐在人行椅上，他會靠在我的肩膀上休息，」陳月卿柔柔地說著，她和夫婿──國安局秘書長蘇起的生活點滴。
明年是他們步上紅毯後的第二十個年頭，由陳月卿來回答「如何嫁對老公」，最適合不過了。
嫁對人很重要，經營婚姻更重要
蘇起是否符合陳月卿心目中白馬王子的條件呢？「我從不去想會嫁什麼樣的人，緣分到了，自然就會出現。重要的是選擇妳所愛，愛妳所選擇的。」
她認為找到好老公很難，每個人的好都不一樣，要選合適的人才重要。她引述作家羅蘭的話：「婚姻就像鞋，有的明明是雙好鞋，可是會打腳。穿上去舒不舒服才是重點。」
「嫁對人很重要，經營婚姻更重要，」一位是衝鋒陷陣的新聞工作者，一位是服膺「定、靜、安、慮、得」儒家思想的官員、學者，他們的家庭生活是什麼光景？
一九八七年，陳月卿和蘇起因相親而認識，兩年後結婚，這次婚姻是兩人的第二春。當時也有人介紹其他異性朋友，而陳月卿情歸蘇起，是因兩人有相同的價值觀、興趣，同樣都是政大畢業、外省第二代的背景，更重要的是，「我們聊得來，很能溝通。」
吵架三原則不可犯，夫妻謹守底線
她為自己找到可以談心的對象而高興，她的老師卻潑她冷水，「男人結了婚就會變的，」陳月卿信誓旦旦地說，「蘇起不一樣，他不會變。」
婚後，他們就和一般夫妻一樣進入磨合期，「誰該倒垃圾、誰該洗碗、我也上班，為何我做比較多，」這樣的問題常常出現。
不出老師所料，他們也不溝通了，蘇起認為該說的話在婚前都說完了，「沒問題就不用溝通，『我愛妳』說多了就不值錢，」陳月卿卻認為「不溝通就會有問題，而且愛要說出來，我才知道你在想什麼啊。」
後來陳月卿發現，蘇起不說甜言蜜語，並不是不愛她，而是他認為說出口的話都是承諾，不可隨便說說。
他們約法三章，吵架有三原則不可犯：不能掛電話、不能摔盤子、不能說離婚。結婚以來，不管吵得多兇，他們謹守這條底線。不過，通常是蘇起冷靜的離開吵架現場。
蘇起誠心讚美，陳月卿甘心下廚
「我的居家本性是被蘇起誘發的，」雖然陳月卿的星座是以居家著稱的巨蟹座。
蘇起喜歡待在家裡，堅持在家吃飯。交往時，蘇起曾經問她：「會不會做飯？」陳月卿回他：「聰明的人學什麼都快。」
婚後第二天，蘇起「示範」了一桌好菜，讓陳月卿感受在家吃飯的溫暖，「不過，他就做那麼一次，」她笑著說如何被哄下廚，而且是心甘情願，因為不管她煮得如何，即使半生不熟、味道不對，蘇起都是面帶微笑吃下去，然後說「在家吃飯最幸福了」。
蘇起告訴陳月卿最希望回家時有一盞燈是亮的。結果點那盞燈的人經常是蘇起，等著晚歸的陳月卿回家，「有人點燈等我回家，感覺好好。」從此她喜歡往外跑的個性漸漸收斂。
「不要怕付出，不要以為下一個男人會更好，」這是陳月卿的婚姻經營之道，「要常常讚美另一半，」就像她無論做什麼，蘇起永遠給予讚美。即使不做飯上館子吃飯，也會稱讚她很會點菜。早上起床還沒刷牙、洗臉，蘇起會讚美她，「老婆，妳好迷人。」
婚姻只有雙輸或雙贏，不可能單方勝利
夫妻之間要彼此尊重。陳月卿說，如果要請老公做事，不要用命令的口氣。她以自己為例，有一天，她告訴蘇起，「我好喜歡接送小孩，在車上和小孩獨處時，我們講好多好多話喔。」結果隔天，蘇起早早起床，他說要送小孩上學。
信任是婚姻的基石。蘇起給陳月卿最大的信任和安全感。他們每天會定時通電話，有了孩子以後，還是會營造兩人世界，一個月約會一次。
夫妻角色也會因狀況而調整。當陳月卿忙著出書、演講，蘇起對她說：「我會好好照顧家庭的。」而當蘇起入閣忙於公事，她就會擔起大部份家事，讓他無後顧之憂。
在這段婚姻，蘇起的最大貢獻，就是讓她愛上運動、喜歡居家生活，改變急躁的脾氣，腳步開始放慢，生命不再只是工作而已。有時候，陳月卿在家用新聞人急迫的口氣說話時，蘇起會提醒她，不要把工作情緒帶回家。「把我安定下來，是他最大成就。」

時間要回到一九九一年五月。當時兩年的婚姻磨合期加上流產的打擊，陳月卿到美國短期進修時，開始思索婚姻的意義。然而蘇起的一通越洋電話，打亂了她的行程，自稱患有「工作上癮症」的陳月卿，人生順位重新排序。
「我得到肝癌，」電話那頭蘇起的語氣平靜，也叫陳月卿不必趕回家，繼續完成行程，「他是體貼我才這麼說的」。
為了確定病情，她打電話回台灣問醫生，「肝臟上的腫瘤很少是良性的，」聽到醫生的回答，她當下決定回台，放棄到美國哥倫比亞廣播公司「六十分鐘」節目、CNN實習，為工作生涯加分的大好機會。
在紐約機場，她和送行同伴相擁而泣，為了蘇起的病，也為了人生這個突然出現的轉彎。
天天喝精力湯，拾回全家人健康
陳月卿回台後，辭去忙碌的電視節目製作人工作，以家庭為重，展開夫妻倆的抗癌大作戰。為了養生抗癌，她開始發揮新聞工作者的精神，研讀國內外健康飲食書籍，也當起神農，嘗試各種飲食方法。
《食物是最好的醫藥》一書是她的聖經，她相信「食物就是你的藥，藥物並不能帶來健康，心靈喜悅會帶來身體的健康……」而《用營養擊退癌症》一書裡所提的「全果汁」營養概念，讓她從此埋頭研究「精力湯」。
妳會常常在電視上看到陳月卿賣力介紹精力湯，那是他們全家人每天飲用的聖品，讓蘇起的肝癌不再復發，連原本是藥罐子的她，做身體檢查時，醫生都告訴她，腸胃漂亮得像嬰兒。那麼好的東西，當然要告訴更多人。

「我們到桃源街吃晚飯，飯後散步到中山堂附近，坐在人行椅上，他會靠在我的肩膀上休息，」陳月卿柔柔地說著，她和夫婿──國安局秘書長蘇起的生活點滴。
明年是他們步上紅毯後的第二十個年頭，由陳月卿來回答「如何嫁對老公」，最適合不過了。
嫁對人很重要，經營婚姻更重要
蘇起是否符合陳月卿心目中白馬王子的條件呢？「我從不去想會嫁什麼樣的人，緣分到了，自然就會出現。重要的是選擇妳所愛，愛妳所選擇的。」
她認為找到好老公很難，每個人的好都不一樣，要選合適的人才重要。她引述作家羅蘭的話：「婚姻就像鞋，有的明明是雙好鞋，可是會打腳。穿上去舒不舒服才是重點。」
「嫁對人很重要，經營婚姻更重要，」一位是衝鋒陷陣的新聞工作者，一位是服膺「定、靜、安、慮、得」儒家思想的官員、學者，他們的家庭生活是什麼光景？
一九八七年，陳月卿和蘇起因相親而認識，兩年後結婚，這次婚姻是兩人的第二春。當時也有人介紹其他異性朋友，而陳月卿情歸蘇起，是因兩人有相同的價值觀、興趣，同樣都是政大畢業、外省第二代的背景，更重要的是，「我們聊得來，很能溝通。」
吵架三原則不可犯，夫妻謹守底線
她為自己找到可以談心的對象而高興，她的老師卻潑她冷水，「男人結了婚就會變的，」陳月卿信誓旦旦地說，「蘇起不一樣，他不會變。」
婚後，他們就和一般夫妻一樣進入磨合期，「誰該倒垃圾、誰該洗碗、我也上班，為何我做比較多，」這樣的問題常常出現。
不出老師所料，他們也不溝通了，蘇起認為該說的話在婚前都說完了，「沒問題就不用溝通，『我愛妳』說多了就不值錢，」陳月卿卻認為「不溝通就會有問題，而且愛要說出來，我才知道你在想什麼啊。」
後來陳月卿發現，蘇起不說甜言蜜語，並不是不愛她，而是他認為說出口的話都是承諾，不可隨便說說。
他們約法三章，吵架有三原則不可犯：不能掛電話、不能摔盤子、不能說離婚。結婚以來，不管吵得多兇，他們謹守這條底線。不過，通常是蘇起冷靜的離開吵架現場。
蘇起誠心讚美，陳月卿甘心下廚
「我的居家本性是被蘇起誘發的，」雖然陳月卿的星座是以居家著稱的巨蟹座。
蘇起喜歡待在家裡，堅持在家吃飯。交往時，蘇起曾經問她：「會不會做飯？」陳月卿回他：「聰明的人學什麼都快。」
婚後第二天，蘇起「示範」了一桌好菜，讓陳月卿感受在家吃飯的溫暖，「不過，他就做那麼一次，」她笑著說如何被哄下廚，而且是心甘情願，因為不管她煮得如何，即使半生不熟、味道不對，蘇起都是面帶微笑吃下去，然後說「在家吃飯最幸福了」。
蘇起告訴陳月卿最希望回家時有一盞燈是亮的。結果點那盞燈的人經常是蘇起，等著晚歸的陳月卿回家，「有人點燈等我回家，感覺好好。」從此她喜歡往外跑的個性漸漸收斂。
「不要怕付出，不要以為下一個男人會更好，」這是陳月卿的婚姻經營之道，「要常常讚美另一半，」就像她無論做什麼，蘇起永遠給予讚美。即使不做飯上館子吃飯，也會稱讚她很會點菜。早上起床還沒刷牙、洗臉，蘇起會讚美她，「老婆，妳好迷人。」
婚姻只有雙輸或雙贏，不可能單方勝利
夫妻之間要彼此尊重。陳月卿說，如果要請老公做事，不要用命令的口氣。她以自己為例，有一天，她告訴蘇起，「我好喜歡接送小孩，在車上和小孩獨處時，我們講好多好多話喔。」結果隔天，蘇起早早起床，他說要送小孩上學。
信任是婚姻的基石。蘇起給陳月卿最大的信任和安全感。他們每天會定時通電話，有了孩子以後，還是會營造兩人世界，一個月約會一次。
夫妻角色也會因狀況而調整。當陳月卿忙著出書、演講，蘇起對她說：「我會好好照顧家庭的。」而當蘇起入閣忙於公事，她就會擔起大部份家事，讓他無後顧之憂。

An elderly gentleman...
Had serious hearing problems for a number of years. He went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a set of hearing aids that allowed the gentleman to hear 100%
The elderly gentleman went back in a month to the doctor and the doctor said, 'Your hearing is perfect. Your family must be really pleased that you can hear again.'
The gentleman replied, 'Oh, I haven't told my family yet.
I just sit around and listen to the conversations. I've changed my will three times!'
Two elderly gentlemen from a retirement center were sitting on a bench under a tree when one turns to the other and says: 'Slim, I'm 83 years old now and I'm just full of aches and pains. I know you're about my age. How do you feel?'
Slim says, ' I feel just like a newborn baby.'
'Really!? Like a newborn baby!?'
'Yep. No hair, no teeth, and I think I just wet my pants.'
An elderly couple had dinner at another couple's house, and after eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen.
The two gentlemen were talking, and one said, 'Last night we went out to a new restaurant and it was really great. I would recommend it very highly.'
The other man said, 'What is the name of the restaurant?'
The first man thought and thought and finally said, 'What is the name of that flower you give to someone you love?
You know... The one that's red and has thorns.'
'Do you mean a rose?'
'Yes, that's the one,' replied the man. He then turned towards the kitchen and yelled, 'Rose, what's the name of that restaurant we went to last night?'
Hospital regulations require a wheel chair for patients being discharged. However, while working as a student nurse, I found one elderly gentleman already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet, who insisted he didn't need my help to leave the hospital.
After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let me wheel him to the elevator.
On the way down I asked him if his wife was meeting him.
' I don't know,' he said. 'She's still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown.'
Couple in their nineties are both having problems remembering things. During a checkup, the doctor tells them that they're physically okay, but they might want to start writing things down to help them remember.
Later that night, while watching TV, the old man gets up from his chair. 'Want anything while I'm in the kitchen?' he asks.
'Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?'
'Sure.'
'Don't you think you should write it down so you can remember it?' she asks.
'No, I can remember it.'
'Well, I'd like some strawberries on top, too. Maybe you should write it down, so's not to forget it?'
He says, ' I can remember that. You want a bowl of ice cream with strawberries..'
'I'd also like whipped cream. I'm certain you'll forget that, write it down?' she asks.
Irritated, he says, ' I don't need to write it down, I can remember it! Ice cream with strawberries and whipped cream - I got it, for goodness sake!'
Then he toddles into the kitchen. After about 20 minutes,
The old man returns from the kitchen and hands his wife a plate of bacon and eggs. She stares at the plate for a moment.
'Where's my toast ?'
A senior citizen said to his eighty-year old buddy:
'So I hear you're getting married?'
'Yep!'
'Do I know her?'
'Nope!'
'This woman, is she good looking?'
'Not really.'
'Is she a good cook?'
'Naw, she can't cook too well.'
'Does she have lots of money?'
'Nope! Poor as a church mouse.'
'Well, then, is she good in bed?'
' I don't know.'
'Why in the world do you want to marry her then ?'
'Because she can still drive!'
Three old guys are out walking.
First one says, 'Windy, isn't it?'
Second one says, 'No, it's Thursday!'
Third one says, 'So am I. Let's go get a soda.'
A man was telling his neighbor, ' I just bought a new hearing aid. It costs me four thousand dollars, but it's state of the art. It's perfect.'
'Really,' answered the neighbor . 'What kind is it?'
'Twelve thirty.'
Morris, an 82 year-old man, went to the doctor to get a physical.
A few days later, the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman on his arm.
A couple of days later, the doctor spoke to Morris and said, 'You're really doing great, aren't you?'
Morris replied, 'Just doing what you said, Doc: 'Get a hot mamma and be cheerful.''
The doctor said, ' I didn't say that. I said, 'You've got a heart murmur; be careful.'
One more. . .!
A little old man shuffled slowly into an ice cream parlor and pulled himself slowly, painfully, up onto a stool.. After catching his breath, he ordered a banana split.
The waitress asked kindly, 'Crushed nuts?'
'No,' he replied, 'Arthritis.'

good lesson
Do you know that the boat is safe at harbour, but it is not build for its intended purpose. Similarly, the sailor will not acquire the skill if he does not go therough the storm.
That's the reason why we have to go through some painful process or sufferings?
The story below helps to illustrate this point:-
A daughter tells her mother how everything is going wrong for her; She probably failed her Math exam,
Her boyfriend just dumped her for her best friend.
In times so sad, a good mother knows just the thing to cheer up her daughter… “I make a delicious cake.” In that moment the mother hugged her daughter and walked her to the kitchen, while her daughter attempted to smile.
While the mother prepared the utensils and ingredients, her daughter sat across from her at the counter. Her mother asks, “Sweetheart, would you like a piece of cake?” Her daughter replies, “Sure,mom, you know how I love cake.”
“Alright…” the mother said, “Drink some of this cooking oil.” Shocked, the daughter responded, “What?!? No way!
“How about a couple of raw eggs?” To this the daughter responded, “Are you kidding?”
“How about a little flour?” “No, mom, I’ll be sick!”
The mother responded, “All of these things are uncooked and taste bad, but if you put them together… They make a delicious cake!”
God works the same way. When we ask ourselves why does he make us go through these difficult times, we don’t realize the what/where these events may bring us. Only He knows and he will not let us fall. We don’t need to settle for the raw ingredients, trust in Him… And see something fantastic come about!
God loves us so much… He send us flowers every spring…
He makes the sun rise every morning…
And anytime you need to talk… He is there to listen!
He can live anywhere in the universe… But He chooses to live in your heart!

You may save a life
為了健康, 一定要睇!
有個朋友，在一次烤肉聚會當中絆倒了，摔了一跤，
A friend once fell down suddenly in a BBQ party.
旁邊的朋友建議找醫護人員，
People around suggested her go to the hospital,
但她很確定自己沒事，只是穿了新鞋被磚塊絆了一下罷了。
But she reassured that nothing's wrong with herself, except having
fallen down due stepping on a piece of brick in a pair of new shoes.
她還有點危危顫顫站立不穩的時候，
While she was still shivering, not standing firm,
朋友們幫她清洗乾淨，又為她盛了一盤食物，
Friends helped her clean up her body, and got a plate of food for her,
她就跟著大家一起享受接下來的時光了。
Thereafter, she happily enjoyed the rest of time with the company.
她的先生後來打電話通知大家，
Later on, her husband called to tell these friends,
她被送到醫院，傍晚六點，就過世了，
She has been sent to the hospital at last, and she passed away at! 6
PM only,
原因是她在烤肉聚餐的時候中風。
Which cause was a stroke to her during the BBQ party.

If he can reach a patient in 3 hours after a stroke attack,
他就可以將中風的後果完全扭轉過來。
He can alter the stroke consequences completely.
訣竅就是辨識診斷出中風的問題，
The trick is how to diagnose a stroke,
並讓病患在三小時之內接受醫療，
And let the patient have treatment within 3 hours after a stroke.
而這是很難的。

Sometimes it's not easy to identify a stroke,
不幸的是，缺乏警覺就會帶來災難。
Yet unfortunately, it will bring disaster without proper alert.
身邊的人辨認不出中風的徵兆，
If people around a stroke patient are not able to tell a stroke,
中風患者就會嚴重腦傷。
The stroke patient will suffer from serious brain injury.
醫生說，旁人只要問三個簡單的問題，
A doctor says, if surrounding people can just ask 3 simple questions,
就可以辨識中風：
It is possible to diagnose a stroke.
S
： (smile) 要求患者笑一下
Ask the patient to smile
T
： (talk) 要求患者說一句簡單的句子 (要有條理，有連貫性)，例如：今天天氣晴朗。
Request the patient say a simple sentence (must be reasonable and
consecutive)
，e.g. The weather is sunny today.
R
： (raise) 要求 患者舉起雙手
Ask the patient to raise both hands at the same time
注意 Note：
另外一項中風癥兆是： 要求患者伸出舌頭 ，如果舌頭「彎曲」或偏向一邊，那也是中風的徵兆
One more diagnose method of stroke is : Tell the patient to extrude
his tongue. If the tongue is bending or leaning towards one side, that
is also a symptom of stroke.
上面四個動作，患者如果有任何一個動作做不來，就要立刻打 999 ！！！並! 且把症狀描述給接線者聽。
Above are 4 steps. In case a patient can't do either one of such
gestures, you should dial 999 !!!

DEAF BOOKKEEPER
A Mafia Godfather finds out that his bookkeeper has cheated him out of ten million bucks. His bookkeeper is deaf. That was the reason he got the job in the first place.
It was assumed that a deaf bookkeeper would not hear anything that he might have to testify about in court.
When the Godfather goes to confront the bookkeeper about his missing $10 million, he brings along his attorney, who knows sign language.
The Godfather tells the lawyer, "Ask him where the 10 million bucks he embezzled from me is." The attorney, using sign language, asks the bookkeeper where the money is.
The bookkeeper signs back: "I don't know what you are talking about."
The attorney tells the Godfather: "He says he doesn't know what you're talking about."
The Godfather pulls out a pistol, puts it to the bookkeeper's temple and says, "Ask him again!"
The attorney signs to the bookkeeper: "He'll kill you if you don't tell him!"
The bookkeeper signs back: "OK! You win! The money is in a brown briefcase, buried behind the shed in my cousin Enzo's backyard in Queens !"

“那条黄色短信是谁发的”：查手机！在今天，已成为男女最不尊重彼此的方式，每个人都有难言，每个人都需要独立的空间，有尊严的男人会对这种行为深恶痛绝，特別是选在枕边。
“上次那笔生意没戏了吧”：鬱闷了好几天的事终于让她乌鸦的说出，男人被指工作无能，在今天绝不亚于性无能，除非是你今夜不想要的阴谋、除非是对他得罪你的报復，否则金口紧闭吧！

FAITH
Faith is the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
In short, F.A.I.T.H. mean:-

All He is

Him.

All my needs

Him.

All His blessings

Him.
From the above, it well demonstrated that Faith is everything. Faith is the eye that sees the invisible. We have to accept and acknowledge Him that He is our Savior and He is alpha and Omega. Everything begins with Him and Ends with Him as well. He provides all our needs such as He gives us life, Word to guide us and every of our needs such as food, place, air, water, and sun. He fulfill all our needs be it physical, biological, mental and spiritual. In shorts, we provide everything inclusive of happiness, joys, mercy, etc..if we really understand and view it from His perspective.
It forms one of key fundamental pillars of the Christian walk. As such, we must be aware and understand it true meaning. With faith, we are able to believe God when He says that something will to pass or that He will do something for everyone who believe Him. With faith, we will not stumble through our journey. We stumble because we feel the pain, discomfort, worry or fear that all from our flesh or carnal thinking. What we don’t see is that the Heavenly Father is awaiting to reward you with the throne at the finishing line of the race. He knows everything you gone through the race. He even send the Holy Spirit to accompany you, guide you, cheer you, help you and everything you need so as to finish the race.
By now, you can see that the assurance of faith is indispensable for a healthy, powerful growth in the Lord. That’s why God wants us to take and lay up His Word in our heart, because that is the way to strengthen your faith.

Be sensitive
或許這篇你早已看過…但,真的有做到嗎……
"多欣賞、少挑剔"，"多灑香水、少吐苦水"
曾有一個大學女學生，與男友交往一年多了，兩人感情蠻穩定的，所以，這女生也就將家人的狀況告訴男友。
她說，她媽媽的脾氣有點怪，常亂發脾氣、或打罵兒女；一有看不順眼的事，就破口大罵，把家裡的人罵得狗血淋頭，而鄰居們也都對她母親敬而遠之。
因此，她在成長過程中，就時常忍受母親「歇斯底里」的怪異脾氣、以及鄰居的「異樣眼光」。
一天，這女生和男友因小事吵架，兩人在爭執不下時，男友突然半開玩笑地說 道：「妳真是無理取鬧耶，妳這種脾氣，跟妳媽有什麼兩樣？」
就這麼一句話，這女生掉頭就走！而且，這一翻臉走人，就再也沒有回頭的餘地！
"為什麼呢？這只不過是一句隨便說說的玩笑話而且，她幹嘛那麼在意？也不讓我有道歉的機會…."男友不解地向朋友訴說委屈，因他不覺得自己犯下什麼滔天大錯。
然而，這女生的態度卻十分堅決，因為她認為－－我將心中的"至痛"全都告訴你，只因你是我的"最愛"；可是，你為什麼要將我"最痛的傷口"拿出來"戳戳看"？
你可知道，我的心好痛、好痛，而且還在淌血嗎？你怎麼"不顧及我的感受？"
" 就這樣，這對情侶因男友一句無心的玩笑話，分手了！這女生始終無法忘懷男友那句讓她"傷心入骨"的話，也深怕那句話，哪天還可能再度深深地戳入她心底，因此，她絕不"重拾舊好"。這真是讓我們警惕－－"勿讓無心話，傷害有情人啊！"
不过"得饒人處且饒人"，尤其是對自己最親密的人所說的"無心話"，是否一定要判定為"罪不可赦"，甚至造成感情上兩敗俱傷的"雙輸"呢？
曾有五位年輕朋友一起開車去聚餐，可是在停車場找車位時，因假日的關係，車子停得十分凌亂、擁擠。
正當開車的宗賢心煩地在大小車陣中前進、且找不到停車位時，旁坐的女友心潔以溫和的口吻說："宗賢，小心一點，快擦撞到了哦！"
宗賢看了看兩邊後視鏡，沒說話，只是繼續前進。
不久，心潔又有些擔心地說："小心、小心， 慢一點，這樣會擦到右邊的車子哦！"
這時，宗賢不耐煩地說："好啦，我知道啦，我自己會看啦！妳不要一直嘮叨、一直製造緊張好不好？真是囉嗦！"
這時，車內的氣氛凝結住了，大家都不知道說什麼好，也都沒再說話。
好不容易找到停車位後，大家進入餐廳聚餐；當大家先喝著冰涼的開水時，心潔突然對大家說道："我今天好開心哦！"
好友小珊聽了，說道："心潔，我覺得每次看到妳，妳好像都很開心！"
"是啊，我只要一想到宗賢是我男朋友，常辛苦開車載我，我就覺得很開心、很快樂啊！"心潔神情愉快地對著大夥兒說。
而這麼一說，在旁的男友宗賢反而一陣臉紅，有點"不好意思"，也為他自己剛才在找停車位時的"不耐煩口氣"，向心潔和大夥兒致歉！
有人說："愈親密的人，愈知道怎麼傷害對方。"
的確，最愛你的人，常"傷害你最深"！而且，身旁最親密的人不必"用力戳"，只要隨便"劃一刀"，就會使自己痛得不得了；就像本文中的大學女生，被男友無心的一句話刺痛得"恨之入骨"一樣。
所以，在男女溝通出現小的"傷口"和"裂痕"時，就必須趕快"彌補"，而不能"以己度人"地認為："開開玩笑而巳嘛，有什麼好生氣的？"－－畢竟每個人最痛的"致命傷"不一樣，不能"想當然耳"呀！
其實，"主動道歉"並不是"認輸"，而是"真正成熟"的表現；只有放下自 尊，謙卑、主動地伸出"道歉、示好"的手，才能彌補雙方逐漸擴大的"裂痕"啊！
常言道：夫妻有四種－－"打罵夫妻、互管夫妻、互助夫妻、感恩夫妻。"
"打罵、互管"的夫妻，真的是稀鬆平常、到處可見；但要做到"相互感恩"的夫妻，則並不容易、也不多見啊！
因為有些太太時常哭哭啼啼地埋怨－－"婚前，他可以一邊喝咖啡、一邊聽我訴說一個下午，現在我唸他幾句，他都謙我囉嗦！婚前，他都把我當成手心的寶；婚後，他卻把我當成手上的草！嗚.."
不過，也有一個王太太時常公開地稱讚她先生說："我這個老公啊，人真是很好，我真的很佩服他，因為他經常『勇於認錯』，只是『絕不改過』！"
說真的，"多欣賞、少挑剔"，"多感恩、少責備"，"多灑香水、少吐苦水"，就一定可以減少生活中的磨擦。
於千萬人之中遇見你所遇見的人，沒有早一步，也沒有晚一步，只是『剛巧趕上』了。或許應該積極尋求在『對的』時間裡，創造幸福的愛情 。

Chinese new year is drawing near.
When buy Chinese oranges please beware of the worms inside. These worms are very similar to the texture of the orange and therefore can only be observe if you look carefully (long sighted person may not notice).
The Chinese government had in fact made effort to destroy hundreds of tons of these oranges and compensate the farmers for these. But however some culprit may still sell it illegally. That's why we need to be careful.
Whether the worms is harmful to the human body or not is still questionable. But generally if few numbers are consumed it should not make any harm according to doctors. It is advisable to be careful about it.

今年四川的桔子遭受了一种寄生虫的灾害，叫柑蛆而且是肉眼能够看得见的寄生
虫。光拨开橘子皮还不能看见，要把每个桔子外边的那层皮也拨掉才能看见！
据说政府以每斤几毛钱的价格收购果农手里染病的桔子然后深埋，但还是有财迷心窍
的果农偷偷把染病的桔子批发出去了！
所以说现在市场上的川桔要小心！据说华西都市报写了这件事，虽不知道真假，但大
家还是注意一下吧
"我长这么大，还没有见过在橘子瓣的肉里隐藏那么多的蛆伢子，真是稀奇……"3日下
午，在广元旺苍县嘉川镇鸡鸣山上的果园里，石桥村六组67岁的陈显阳老人对自己脚
下正在作深埋处理的5000多公斤柑橘很是感慨。在老人身后的山坡上，200多壮劳力和
他一样，正在橘园里采摘最后的果实，然后集中堆放，挖坑消毒深埋这些大多数还泛
着青光的果实。
|撕开橘肉两条蛆虫冒出来
鸡鸣山果园是广元市有名的柑橘园。陈显阳老人把记者带到了一个刚刚采摘完果实的
橘园，树上已空空荡荡，不留一枚果实。在一块喽云教沟牡胤剑幻咨睢宽、五米长的"
葬橘"坑已经挖好，坑的外沿密密麻麻堆放着几千公斤橘子，正在等待运送来消毒的石
灰就可以开始处理。在一半青一半黄的橘子堆上，陈显阳随手捡起三只橘子，外表好
好的，没有裂口也没有孔眼，一个一个分开外壳后，粗略一看，也没有什么异样，但
当他选择一瓣橘子撕开绯红的橘肉，记者立即看到两条比米粒长的白白的蛆虫爬了出
来……
陈显阳说，自己和村里人是9月27日被通知上山采摘柑橘果实的，"树上一个不留，统
统由政府收购。摘光、埋光、杀光。"
|最多一户"埋掉"32万元
"白白的蛆虫学名叫大实蝇，俗称柑蛆。"负责处理病虫害果实的嘉川镇农业服务站站
长高鸣胜解答了记者的疑惑。
高鸣胜说："柑蛆作为一种寄生虫在果园生存并不奇怪，但像今年这样大面积暴发，产
生灾难性的后果实属罕见。"据高鸣胜讲，最先发现柑蛆的是相邻的尚武镇。随后县政
府立即组织有关专家到相邻乡镇展开排查，很快，毗邻尚武镇的4个乡镇发现了较大面
积的柑蛆。9月27日，县政府的柑橘大实蝇疫情防控通告发布，根据处置办法，先要将
树上成熟、未成熟的果实全部采摘下来，按照每公斤0.30元的标准由政府统一收
购，然后深埋、消毒作无公害化处理。
鸡鸣山是嘉川镇上最大的连片果园，经过200多人7天的辛劳，截至3日下午，已经采摘
处理了25万公斤。

The life we experience is the product of the vision we use to interpret events. At any moment we can see through the eyes of appreciation or criticism. And we will see more of whatever we are focusing on. We master the game of life by finding good wherever we look. And there is much good to be found.
While having lunch with some business associates at an upscale restaurant, one of our party asked the waiter for an unusual dish not on the menu. The waiter replied that he would ask the chef to accommodate the request. Then another member of our group sarcastically commented, "I'll bet that will just tweak the chef's day!"
But the waiter did not flinch. "Actually," he replied smoothly, "I'm sure he will be glad to accommodate you -- this gives him a chance to shine."
Every situation gives us a chance to shine, if we recognize our power as creative spirits. No situation is any one way, except what we make it. You can make anything out of anything. So why not make it perfect?
The story is told about a man who was walking along a city street when a flower pot fell off a sill above him and crashed at his feet, missing him by inches. There are four paths of response the man might take. First, the path of knee-jerk reaction: he would yell a curse toward the window or perhaps dash up the stairs, find the owner, and punch him out. Second, the path of the victim: this experience would confirm his belief that the world is out to get him, and he would go about the rest of his day protecting himself from evil, retelling his story many times. Third, the path of detachment: he would rationalize that this was his karma, do nothing, and just keep walking. The true perfectionist creates effective change by seeing the highest possibilities and becoming so excited about them, that conditions must rise to match the vision.
Several years ago while I was walking through the Los Angeles airport, I felt annoyed by the massive construction going on. I saw ugly makeshift plywood walls to my left and right, a maze of paint-laden scaffolds, and long winding detours to baggage claim. I grumbled to myself about what a mess the place was, and how long it was taking to fix it. Then I discovered a sign that stopped me in my tracks. It was an artist's rendering of what the airport would look like when the construction was complete. It was magnificent! The glass atrium roofs, sleek marbled corridors, and potted palms were a delight to behold -- a far cry from the current mess. Then I relaxed. If that is what this is leading to, I thought, then I am glad they are doing it. When I dropped my resistance, I enjoyed the process, including the construction phase.
The entire universe is in a construction phase, never totally complete as it is, but always perfect as it unfolds. When you appreciate the beauty as you go, you become a true perfectionist.
The life we experience is the product of the vision we use to interpret events. At any moment we can see through the eyes of appreciation or criticism. And we will see more of whatever we are focusing on. We master the game of life by finding good wherever we look. And there is much good to be found.
Shakespeare declared, "There is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so." We see the world not as it is, but as we are. Changing the world is not about setting it right, but seeing it right. If you believe the world is broken and you need to fix it, you will find more and more things broken. If you see the world as whole and beautiful, you will find more and more things to celebrate.
Ram Dass noted there are three kinds of people: those who say, "not enough!"; those who say, "too much!"; and those who say, "ah, just right!" Actually, there are just two kinds of people, for "too much" of one thing is really "not enough" of another. We are continuously choosing between affirmation and resistance.

A friend of mine declared, "I used to think I was a perfectionist. I found the tiniest flaws in everything. Then I realized I was not a perfectionist at all; I was an imperfectionist! If I was a perfectionist, I would see perfection wherever I look."
The life we experience is the product of the vision we use to interpret events. At any moment we can see through the eyes of appreciation or criticism. And we will see more of whatever we are focusing on. We master the game of life by finding good wherever we look. And there is much good to be found.
While having lunch with some business associates at an upscale restaurant, one of our party asked the waiter for an unusual dish not on the menu. The waiter replied that he would ask the chef to accommodate the request. Then another member of our group sarcastically commented, "I'll bet that will just tweak the chef's day!"
But the waiter did not flinch. "Actually," he replied smoothly, "I'm sure he will be glad to accommodate you -- this gives him a chance to shine."
Every situation gives us a chance to shine, if we recognize our power as creative spirits. No situation is any one way, except what we make it. You can make anything out of anything. So why not make it perfect?
The story is told about a man who was walking along a city street when a flower pot fell off a sill above him and crashed at his feet, missing him by inches. There are four paths of response the man might take. First, the path of knee-jerk reaction: he would yell a curse toward the window or perhaps dash up the stairs, find the owner, and punch him out. Second, the path of the victim: this experience would confirm his belief that the world is out to get him, and he would go about the rest of his day protecting himself from evil, retelling his story many times. Third, the path of detachment: he would rationalize that this was his karma, do nothing, and just keep walking. Finally, the path of love: he would go to the flower store on the corner, buy a new plant, and deliver it to the person whose plant had been blown off the sill by the wind.

Does seeing perfection mean we are to simply be passive observers and sit around and do nothing? Not at all. Perfection includes the process of changing, growing, expanding, improving, and moving ahead. But our actions to improve do not proceed from an attitude of pushing against lack. Changes is inevitable. Changes is good, that why God made such changes throughout our lives for His purpose. In fact, everything change over time, except God and His Word.
As such, we at this blog remind you that you must be ready to expect the unexpected, that is life. God never give overcoming life, but give you life to overcome all challenges - that makes your life colorful and meaningful.
Without change, there is no progress. Just imagine the day man were created. If there is no changes, you were not existed. Similarly, even if you were born , you were not grow old and grow up as well. Therefore, it is naturally that we are used to the changes directly or indirectly. That is nothing to be fear of, so long as you abide to His word. He is inside you and of course He is guiding you along, so long as you are listen to the voice of your heart, and not your flesh.
He is sovereign, yet He honors all His covenants. That's why we call His covenants everlasting covenants, a promise through blood, has a very great significant effect and important. From the Scripture, you can all His deliver all His covenants from day one such promises made to Moses where He part the Red Sea; Joshua - the destruction of Jericho; Abraham - father of all nations and endless examples.
With the economic and political uncertainty, we urge you to be strong and never be influenced by your sight. Focus on Him and be strong on your faith. Be faithful to your death, the rewards of your faithfulness is far greater than any thing on earth. Always bear in mind that whatever on earth is temporary in nature. You should look far beyond your life on earth . The plain truth is that naked you come; naked you go. Therefore, it is wise to store wealth on eternity, which is permanent in nature.
