I Just Want To Give Up!!!
by Jerrod Smith | on May 30, 2012
In life there are these moments when you think to yourself “I Just Want To Give Up.” Times that you can’t do anything right, times that you feel sadden by the choices you make, sick that life hasn’t handed you the golden spoon.
It’s hard to look within ourselves for that motivation and inspiration during these times. It can be a rough go to swallow but you have to continue!!
This happens in all aspects of life: Sports, Marriage, Business, and anything you do on a daily basis. I strongly believe no matter what is in front of you, you can do three things. 1.) Make the most out of the situation 2.) Learn and grow as a member of society. 3.) Help show others there is a reason to continue.
I personally have had my struggles throughout life. When you going through hard times you shut the most important individuals out. You focus on the negative aspects of everything you do. While hurting the ones that are willing to help you see that life is just that. Life… An evolving opportunity to love the ones around you and share your experiences with others. When you give the time to help others, you will be rewarded both financially and emotionally. As humans we all desire one thing. To be Needed!!!
I was scrolling down on my Google+ profile earlier this evening and found this post by a friend very compelling so I figured I must share this:
“The meaning of life is to give life meaning.”
“When we own our lives, we accept what we’ve inherited and the experiences we hold in our memories. We also claim our right to create new conditions if we’re not happy with what’s come before. We assume responsibility for changing what does not suit us. We acknowledge our own special talents and skills, and truly comprehend our right to enjoy the journey. In short, we embrace the meaning and purpose, the mystery and the beauty of our lives” ~ TheCoolestCouple.com
There is no giving up! Believe in yourself and push through the hard times. You have so many that are waiting to help you accomplish your goals and desires. Don’t be afraid to take a leap of faith. Like the photo says: “Do Not Give Up, The beginning is always the Hardest.”
