DATUK MICHELLE YEOH DEPORTED FROM MYAMMAR

Hi! everyone,

It was a great shock to read the news that reported the Hollywood actress, Datuk Michelle Yeoh, who stars as pro-democracy leader  Aung San Suu Kyi in an upcoming movie, was deported by Myammar's military-backed government on June 22, 2011 as she was blacklisted.

Their inappropriate action speaks  for themselves because such an event cannot go unnoticed. As we at this blog do respect the internal issues and the sovereignty of the nation in question, yet we cannot help but just wonder what sort of "justice" they are reflecting in their society? What sort of leadership they are projecting to the world at large?

Yeoh is not a threat to the nation as she is neither a revolutionary nor an activist seeking to overthrow the government of Myanmar. Thus, we can safely infer that she will not intervene in the internal affairs of that country. I guess I am not biased towards her without reason and I do rather leave it to you to draw your conclusion based on their own action in line with saying " Action speaks louder than words".

She is an artiste, a well
renowned Hollywood actress who is always faithful to her craft and has a choice to choose to act in any role to play. This is a basic principle that her choice should be respected before one can gain respect. This is a natural way of reaction that govern the underlying sound principle of giving is receiving.

As such, we at this blog trying to play a part not to let this event go unnoticed, but decided to spread this news to the world at large with the hope that such an action should not be repeated by any country. But every government should treat the matter with care and appropriate concern.

Last but not least, we, at this blog write to appeal the government of Myanmar to reconsider their stand and decision. We also hope that they are not blinded by their pride and arrogance that will bring self-destruction to their country. With this, we hope it shall be the last warming/wake up call for those countries which has repeatedly prescribed to this sort of action.

Thanks for your precious time to read this article and please help us to spread this news to show your care in stopping such an action. Thank you in advance.

As a saying goes, what goes around will come around. If we do not stop this sort of actions, we will be haunted by it one day.
