  • Plan healthy, green menus and then turn them into a shopping list.

  • Find items around the house to reuse, such as turning computer paper printed on one side only into notebooks or scrap paper for art projects.

  • Sort through their toys to find items that they’d like to donate to children in need in their community.

I think it is so very important to help our younger generations to begin to fall in love with our environment and learn how to make healthier choices. Once they fall in love with these ideas, they will begin to protect themselves and our environment.

Going green is really about living healthier lives for ourselves and our planet. Children learn what they live and little steps are a great way to begin.

Your blog on the environment is most timely. Here in Kuala Lumpur we feel the heat during lunch time so much we dare not ventire out too far for lunch. In the evening we are showered with rain with thunder and dark skies. Yes climate changes affect our daily lives and we ought to protect the environment that we have been borrowing from our kids
