The issue here is how you can overcome it instead of getting affected by it. The truth is that if you have been averse to risk and is a prisoner of fear. You may think that the person must possess great courage or exceptional talent to overcome fear. The good news is that fear can be overcome by anyone.

1. ACKNOWLEDGE AND ADMIT YOUR FEARS
There is nothing wrong to admit fear. It is a very natural to have fear. You must realise that the only difference between a hero and coward is that the former is able to overcome it by turning it to fire and not the latter. Therefore, to admit and acknowledge it is the first step toward conquering it. Once you admit it, you will then be able to take positive steps to conquer it. Hence, you must persistently increase efforts to face and deal with it till you conquer it. You can be assured that it is worthwhile for you to do it because its fruits are far more overwhelming than its cost.
2. IDENTIFY THE ROOT OF YOUR FEARS
To solve any problem, you must first identify the source or the root of the problem, and not the symptom. Eliminating the former will really set you free from it. One crucial point you must understand that fear is not based on facts, but rather on personal subjective feelings. More often than not, fear is false expectation appearing as real. Therefore to get rid of the root of the problem, you have to discover beyond the irrational feelings that lie beneath them.
3. REALIZE HOW FEAR LIMIT YOU
So long as you don't conquer your fear, it will surface and haunt you. As such, you will be the slave of your fear. Here, I like to reiterate that most of our fears are completely unfounded. It has been overwhelming supported by studies that show that more than 90 percent of what we fear is baseless. The truth is that there are no guarantee in life, what we rely on is false security. Life is dangerous and we must not worry unnecessary or it threatens our health, and will eventually kill us. So, you might as well live life to its fullest.
4. LET YOURSELF FREE FROM FEAR
Once you realize that fear can hinder you from progress, you must respond by taking positive steps, no matter how small the step is.. Inaction will definitely result in fear ruling and destroying you. Through continuous effort and courage, you will eliminate and overcome it. This is exactly advocated by Shakespeare who said " He is not worthy of the honeycomb that shuns the hive because the bees have stings." Keep on trying till you succeed.
5. CONVERT FEAR INTO DESIRE
Life is a sum of your choices. Similarly you can either opt to let fear make you worry or you may opt to turn the energy you save from worry to desire to make thing happens. You must note that the hero and the coward both feel exactly the same fear, but only difference is that the former confronts his fear and converts it into burning fire that assist him to achieve his goals.
6. FOCUS ON THINGS YOU CAN CONTROL
In life, many things you cannot control. So, do not indulge your energy and effort into something you cannot control, but take charge of things you are in control. Therefore, you must distinguish concern from worry. A worried person sees problem whereas the concerned person solves problem.
To become a problem solver, stay focus on things you can control. Remember that what you can control is your attitude and your own timing. In today's rapidly changes environment, your chances of success is even greater because the circumstance may turn to your side one day.
7. GIVE YOUR ATTENTION AT PRESENT
To succeed, you must focus your attention and effort on the present. You cannot alter the past and it is too early to speculate the future. Hence, what is important and critical is to tackle the present.. Once, action is taken, monitoring and rectification is needed to ensure it is being done and heading towards the pre-set direction.
8. HAVE FAITH
You must be aware that fear breeds fear, so do success. Therefore, in order for you to consistently stay successful, you must continuously fan your desire for success. By doing so, you will indirectly starve your unhealthy emotion such as fear. You can see clearly, by now, that it is your choice to feed the emotion of your want. Decision is yours and you are liable for your own decision. Take responsibility for your own action.
