Dear Readers,
Greetings from Malaysia.
We, at this blog, gives a warm welcome to the release of the six leaders of Party Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) after numerous loud calls from the public, various local organisations inclusive of MIC ( a component party of the Ruling Party) and overseas institutions especially the worldwide Human Rights Organisation. As such, this has not put our efforts into waste. They have been detained for 28 days over their alleged involvement in foreign-aided and subversive activities against the nation despite Bersih 2.0 chair person Datuk S, Ambiga refuted the police's grounds of arrest that they were involved in planning the July 9 Bersih rally.
Here, we also write to express our heartfelt thanks to various authorities who were willing to reconsider their decision after a huge cry from the public and our neighbouring countries. This shown that the authorities have begun to open their ears to listen to its people, who voted them in the first place.
We are also glad to hear from the local news that the six appeared to be in good health, despite being tired, and reported to be happy after being released without restriction. In this connection, we also write to thank those who were concerned and continuously pray for them. Likewise, we have mentioned before and do not mind to repeat that there is nothing we cannot achieve if we work together. As such, we do encourage more people to step forward to join us in bringing a higher level of democracy to this country for the betterment of everyone here.
This series of events have shown a step forward to strengthen democracy in this country. Now, it is a real test to see whether we can sustain and step forward to a higher level to the First World, as stated in our preceeding article. You may read it by clicking at the title of this post.
Now, we urge all parties to put aside their differences and come together to plot a higher chapter of democracy to this country. We hope this memorable day is another landmark for us to celebrate in the coming National day, at the end of month, which we hope will bring more significant and colourful meaning to our independence. Let us put the efforts of our Father of Indepence, Tunku Abdul Rahman and his teams into good use and well rewarded manner, as the way we always claim, "Malaysia Boleh".
