Dear my valued visitors,
Lately, I have read several bloggers' posts. The fact that we are struggling our daily lives is the norm. Sometimes, can be very stressful and I know this is not only unhealthy, but very disrupting to our peace, joy and happiness.
For those who have read my earlier post on "some of my recommended books", will know that these books have a great impact to my life. I found that I have benefited lots far than I cannot use words to express them. Big thanks to those authors. Although, I have not achieve perfectness yet, but what I know is that I will press on to attain it.
In this connection, I am more than happy to share it with you all, with the intention that you get these benefits as well.
To cut the story short and go straight to the point. I write to say that it is undeniable truth that altitude is great and can shape you to be a difference maker. I do agree with the author of the book, Altitude is a difference maker, and it is not everything.
Even you have the positive altitude coupled with those skills and expertise the author advocated, there is still a limitation.
No doubt the book gives you lots of boasters to be a good fighter, but it is not suffice to be a conqueror. To make my point clear, let me elaborate the difference between these two. A fighter will enter the field to fight, at his best hope to win the battle. Whereas the latter is more incline to win the war, rather a battle. In short, the latter is more incline to be conqueror rather than fighter.
The same principle can be applied to our lives. Here, the perfect solution is not other than LOVE. IN SHORT, Love is everything. Through love, we can become a conqueror.
In this instance, may I be allowed to sum it with a beautiful poem above. which is written by one of the bloggers I have recently visited. I have also linked up her blog. Please click the title above so as to make access to this poem.
Her poem coupled with the book and bible are the forces behind me to write this post. I appreciate their contributions and like to say BIG THANK for making the above post you are currently reading it, materialized.
I trust you will get the similar benefits or even greater than than mines.
Thank for taking your efforts and times to read it. Thank you in advance,
Trust that you love and value it, because He wants us to be conqueror rather than fighter. He is not trying dominant us, but leading us to LIFE.
Thanks Lord,
Grace to you and peace from God,
James Oh

HOW TO GET MORE OUT OF OUR TIME
Dear valued visitors,
Recently I have visited several blogs and find that almost everyone of us finding difficulty to cope with daily activities due to time constraints and other reasons known to each individual. Some find it stressful and I see there is a real need to discuss this issue as how to achieve more at the same time working less. This is the day of my discussion.
To kick off this topic, I take this opportunity to share some of my thoughts, which may be useful to you. To make thing easier, I list down some pointers as below:-
1. System
Try to establish an orderly system, which is work friendly and easy for you to retrieve your information speedily. No doubt there is more work initially, but it pays handsomely at the later stage.
2. Be precise
Make it a point to make your statement precise. I realize that it is not easy, therefore we need to improve the skill constantly. Most of the time, I find that lots of time are wasted as a result of not sending the message precisely.
3. Making use of the most effective mode of communication
Try to make it a habit to use the most effective mode of communication such as email especially if you have to send the same message to many people. You will be surprised at its outcome as compared to other verbal means.
4. Do Lists
Make it a point to record down the tasks you need to perform. Then schedule them according to their priority. In this manner, you tend to be more efficient and effective.
5. Make use of your idling time
God is fair and has given everyone 24 hours. Don't forget that everyone of us have idle time.
6. Do more than one thing at a time
You can do more than one thing at a time that is you can multi-task. The best example is that you can brush your teeth while making a long call at your toilet bowl.
7. Plan your daily tasks in advance
8. Pray about it
You must believe in it before you pray on it.
9. Don't quit
Most of the time, we are defeated because we have given up. As such, we need to have faith in whatever we are doing and also to constantly reminding ourselves that we can do it.
10. Patience
You need to have patience. Only testing can produce patience. Let patience to complete its work.
11. Leave it and come back to it later
Leave it for a while and do something else. Then you may have inspiration to resume your work with new fresh idea/interest.
12 Do not push yourself unnecessary
Deadline is good, but you need to follow your heart so as to produce a masterpiece. Be flexible is the key.
13. Do not be too anxious
Do not worry unnecessary, but response to it. By acting to it, you will make the thing worse and eventually you may need to spend more time to rectify it. Here, you may use the 90/10 rule.
14. Think positive
When you think positive, everything will turn more rosy and pleasant. You will rest assure that you will have much higher productivity.
15. Work in group
It is undeniable fact that everyone of us has his own talent and skill. By using the strength of each and every member of the group, it will yield more.
16. Find your own work rhythm.
A lot of creative work can be done at odd times and places. So, schedule your work accordingly to your own work rhythm.
The great Canadian physician Sir William Osler, a teacher, medical writer and medical practitioner, set aside only15 minutes every night to compile an annotated bibliography of his huge library. His ambitious Bibliotheca Osleriana contained 7787 entries when he died.
17. Always look out for more efficient and effective way of doing things
Constantly keep your mind open especially when you are doing certain activities which involves lots of repetition. In such instance, keep on asking yourself is there any other way to get the thing done more efficiently and effectively.
Trust the above is of value to you. Please feel free to comment so as to enrich our knowledge.
Cheers and have a wonderful weekend.

Your thought is greatly appreciated
Dear my honorable visitors,
Recently I have read a post, Bad writerly advice?, at http://purpleclover-purpleclover.blogspot.com and I gave my comment, as below, so that you can view it and participate in this dialog to discuss this issue further. I also link up with the above mentioned blog for your reference and understanding.
I find this issue is mind provoking, interesting and challenging and look forward to seeing your participation.
COMMENT
Thank you for allowing me to give some of my humble thoughts here. Firstly, I write to say that good or bad advice is very subjective and vary from individual.
It is just a relative concept and does not carry much weight to me. Worst still, you may say it is good but someone else may say it is bad for the same advice. Most often than not, cause much confusion because each word does not have universal definition for it. Another word, it lack of mathemathic precision. Now, you can where the problem start.
However, the world is changing so rapidly and so do everything include advice, subject to changes over time. Similarly, our mindset and perception always evolve over time. Therefore, it is also very natural for us to come to different conclusion from the same issue at different time. Some may see it as the person un-decisive. However, some may view it differently.
Nothing is absolute good or bad except God and God's word. Everything come with the package of good and bad. It depends on how you look at it. Another word, it is very much depend on the perspective you look at thing.
One thing, we must realize that our brain is more powerful than computer. As a result, we can always come up with thousand reasons to support our view, no matter where we stand. It is interesting to know that we can all things if we believe in them.
Even if you don't, you can assume it by keep on telling yourself. Then, you subconscious mind will accept it and make it happens.
Now, you can see it is a very thin line to between the two statements whether I say what I know, or I say what I don't know. Both statements can be true at the same time. It is very much depend on how you look at it.
I think I better stop here. You just give what I said earlier a serious thought and let me know your view. Hope I am not confuse you, but it is so, please accept my apology. Thank you and look forward to hearing from you.
I may blog what I have said earlier and invite my visitors to give their thoughts as well.
Therefore, it makes life interesting and challenging so long as we acknowledge the fact that we may started with wrong premises that caused the complication of these issues.
Your thoughts/views is greatly welcome so as to make this issue more lively. Thanks.
