PRAISE TENGKU RAZALEIGH HAMZAH

Dear valued visitors,

We are equally glad to inform you know about the news that the proposals to rejuvenate Umno was taken note by our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. This is the very first step toward seriously implementation for the good of the whole country. The news below was extracted from the Star for your easy reference.

GUA Musang Umno division chief Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah is glad that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has taken note of his proposals to rejuvenate the party.

However, he said it remained to be seen if Umno could find the political will to make such changes.

“We shall wait and see whether the proposals will see fruition -- such as disbanding the quota system, limiting the terms of office of some party positions and allowing more participation by low-to-middle ranking members,” he said at the sidelines of the Umno general assembly at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

Tengku Razaliegh had reportedly made similar suggestions to Abdullah last year when he launched a failed bid for the presidency.

“I am a bit disappointed that he did not acknowledge that they were my ideas,” he said.

Tengku Razaleigh meanwhile said the election of new Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin had created confusion among the grassroots.

“I think there is a level of confusion which will continue to linger until the party leaders show poise and dedication to correct a perception that the party practises double standards,” he said.

He said on one hand, Malacca Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam was found guilty and suspended from contesting the post of deputy president.

“Khairy, although similarly found guilty, was allowed to contest and went on to win,” he said.

Here, we are glad that Tengku has made the message clear and loud. It is undeniable that this is the way to put thing right in the perceptive of the world. We also believe that everyone has realized the mistake we had made. Now, it is not too late to rectify it.

It is supreme basic fundamental that good leader must not only dare to admit his mistake, but rectify it and take profit from it. Hence, we should praise Tengku for being brave enough to voice it out.

Therefore, we should stand behind him and give him whatsoever support we can, so as to make it a reality. If we don't care, who will then care for us?

SEE MALAYSIA TOP AT THE WORLD MAP. LET US CHART A VERY CHAPTER FOR MALAYSIA. MALAYSIA BOLEH. WE SAY IT AND DO IT.

Thanks and see you online again and again,

James Oh
