FEAR is something that can make you feel unpleasant, be it REAL or PERCEIVED.
FEAR is good and also bad to individual. You must fully understand it, deal with it and overcome it, so that you can use it for your good.
Fear may empower you from doing something that may be harmful to you, such as smoking or drinking. We called the healthy fear.
Similarly, it may dis-empowering you from doing something good for you, such as public speaking. We termed it as unhealthy fear.
Now, you can see that FEAR itself neither absolutely good nor absolutely bad to you. It is very much depend on how the individual deal and make use of it. Here, it is absolute right to say that it serves as two-edge sword.
It can either motivate you to achieve something your desired goal provided you use it correctly and for your advantage. Conversely, it may act as barrier stopping you from progressing towards your goal. Therefore, you must know precisely how to use it for your benefit.
There is not an absolute good or absolute bad and very much depend on the individual as how you manage with it. We are talking something relatively good or bad. It does not mean anything to you if really understand the true meaning of it.
It will bring benefit to you if you use it wisely. Similarly, it may bring disaster to you if you use it unwisely.
Therefore, it must be truly understood and assessed it correctly. No matter what you, most often than not, deal with it. You must always in control of it and do not let it control you. Saying is easy and doing is totally different, if you truly understand what I mean.
To deal and overcome it, you must be able to direct and redirect your mind / perception and stay control of yourself, focus on the right solution rather problem so that it can assist you to overcome it.
In this case, it is a good practice that you always focus on your goal rather than problem. Always stay focus on your pre-set objective/goal and never let your focus swing to other non pertinent issue such as the environment, or the audience or anything other than your objective/goal.
Always remember that our Lord has set you free and you can do everything through Him, who strengthen you. Philippians 4:13.
