Living in a society that glorifies perfectly toned legs, muscles and fit figures, brings a certain amount of stress on us, the regular mortals. All the bodies and faces we see on the covers of fashion, beauty and fitness magazines makes us want to starve for years just to get that beautiful physique. Fortunately, there is no need for you to succumb to the tortures of that kind.




Do not be so hard on yourself

The way you think highly affects your lifestyle. Constantly thinking you look unattractive will eventually make you feel bad about yourself, and this can lead to much serious conditions. Depression and body dysphoria are some of the illnesses people face with when they resent their body image. If you think all those celebrities you see on the covers of magazines are naturally that gorgeous, you are wrong. All the six-packs men have, and those cellulite-free legs of models’ are nothing but the magic of a Photoshop. It is true they are fit, and the abs you see on men are there, but not as perfect as they seem. Instead of thinking about how dissatisfied you are about yourself, start training in the gym, or jog in the park and you will instantly feel better and eventually look good.

Step Away From Social Media

Cutting down on social media each day will generally help you feel better about yourself. All those Instagram profiles that feature pictures of people who look flawless deserve to be unfollowed. Especially if after going through their pictures, you will feel less about yourself. Rarely will any celebrity post a picture of their bad and miserable day, because they want us to see their beautiful lives. Just remember, even they have a day when they do not feel good about themselves.

You would not believe how many women claim a tailor made suits would make the most common man look like a true businessman. Women enjoy the company of a smart funny man, and a perfectly matched combination will only make you more attractive. A dashing outfit will definitely compensate for all the faults you might think you have. Match a pair of trousers, with a dress shirt and a blazer to achieve the look of a true gentleman. Elegant men bring along a certain amount of seriousness and elegance, and it will make you look handsome in the eyes of any woman.

Get a Pet

Pets can be great friends, and they will be the perfect company. Furthermore, you will need to dedicate to your pet entirely and make sure it is always fed, clean and healthy. This will take your mind of thinking how you do not love your body. If you are not much of an animal lover, or you do not think you could take care of a pet properly, finding a date is also good. Having someone you share you worries and experiences with is always beneficial. Furthermore, a boyfriend or a girlfriend are always great support and they can improve your self-esteem.

Love Yourself


We are all human, and nobody is perfect. Keep that in mind next time you think you are too fat, too tall or too imperfect. You can change all the faults you find in yourself, all it takes is motivation and determination. If you want to lose weight – start working out. Not only will you look better, but you will also feel better and be healthier. Nevertheless, even if you do not lose the weight, you will still be beautiful. None of the people that fail to see you as beautiful deserves your love and attention. Inner beauty is what matters, and not the physical appearance. Therefore, be good to people, learn to love, to forgive and to give. Your life will instantly change.
